Ram Kapoor's wife Gautami Kapoor reacts to Lock Upp wildcard rumours: 'Mere bachho ko main..'

Actor Gautami Kapoor has responded to speculation about joining *Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa* as a wildcard contestant. Speaking to paparazzi in Mumbai on Wednesday, she said she has no plans to enter the Netflix reality show, despite husband Ram Kapoor currently being one of the contestants.

When asked about Ram's journey on the show, Gautami said she has been supporting him throughout and is enjoying watching him. "Main unhe hamesha support karti hoon aur woh bahot maze kar rahe hain. Bahot maza aa raha hai unko dekhke," she said.

The paparazzi then asked whether she would consider entering the show. Gautami initially smiled and replied, "Ram ki marzi." However, when she was specifically asked if she would join as a wildcard contestant, she ruled out the possibility. "Nahi nahi, wildcard nahi. Mere bachchon ko kaun dekhega?" she responded, making it clear that her priority remains taking care of her children at home.

Her statement comes days after Ram Kapoor made an emotional disclosure on *Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa*. During a task to avoid elimination, the actor revealed that he was sexually abused by a senior student while studying at a boarding school at the age of 13. He also shared that Gautami was the only person who knew about the incident before he spoke about it on national television.

Ram's revelation left contestants as well as hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh visibly emotional. Several housemates were also seen comforting him after he shared the deeply personal experience.

Meanwhile, the reality show witnessed another major development during the recent midweek eviction. Madhuri Jain Grover, wife of entrepreneur Ashneer Grover, exited the competition after landing in the bottom two alongside Akanksha Choudhary.

Host Riteish Deshmukh asked both contestants to decide who should leave the show. Madhuri chose to step out of the competition, bringing her journey on the show to an end.
