This is my first topic in this forum. I am compelled to make this topic as there has been so much Sadhana bashing purely based on speculations (according to some TB article and promos).
First of all, Ranveer is not in prison at this time because of Sadhana. He is there only because of his violent rage and pure bad luck. So Sadhana can not be blamed for his current situation. She was not cheering for him when he was beating the guy black and blue. Was She ?? Did she not try to stop him ?? As a dutiful devar he tried to protect his bhabhi from that goon but couldn't control his temper. May be RS whats to show us that "No one is above the law".
Now what happens in the court would be Sadhana's responsibility to some extent. Why some extent because the goon is on death-bed. Not everything depends upon Sadi's statement. There are so many factors involved. Moreover nothing is confirmed yet. She has only told the complete truth to the lawyer( source SBS/SBB). Whatever is shown in the promo is not the actual scene. In the promo they are showing Sadi's initial dilemma not her final statement in court. This is a very natural feeling for anyone. One on hand she has to save Ranveer and on the other hand the goon is in coma only for eve-teasing. Moreover promos are only to keep audience in suspense. Why not just wait to the episode to air before passing any judgment on Sadhana.
There are also comparisons like What if it was Alekh instead of Ranveer would Sadi not lie for him. How can we be sure that Sadi would lie for Alekh ? Lets not discuss any hypothetical situation here and only focus on the current situation. What if .... never give any correct solutions but only complicate the matter. Even in that case I would say Alekh would never go that far. He would himself ask Sadi to tell the truth.
Most likely she will try to help Ranveer but public prosecutor(played by RajShree) will try to make her blurt the entire truth in the witness-box. This happens all the time, even in Ranveer's and the inspector case in the hospital. The public prosecutor will also do her own investigation and she will make sure that Ranveer is put behind the bar. There was also goon's associate who witnessed the entire scene. So anything can happen. It all depends upon how long the track is going to last. That goon will also come out of coma later on and reveal the name of the real culprit who sent him to the resort.
Even if she doesn't side with Ranveer, there must be a strong reason for her to do so. Sadi is a beautiful human being, she has a conscience . She will be under oath in court. If under oath and also looking at the pressure put by the public prosecutor, if she listens and follows her conscience , then i would not blame her for saying the truth, as there are very few people in this world who have the courage to listen and follow their conscience. All of us try to protect our family members even when they are wrong purely out of love but not everyone has guts to be like her.
Whatever happens Sadi will have to face the consequences of her actions whether its good or bad. Every person has to deal with it. So lets just wait and watch. Its too early to draw any conclusion at this stage with only few pieces of the puzzle .
