The first few days are really hard to tell. I am guessing by mid week next week we'll know better.

Desu,you won't get a clear picture until the 1st week ends.

Some films open really well and they are termed Hits.For eg- Recently,Blue opened very well n everyone called it a hit but it crashed very badly afterwards.

So wait for this week to complete n also the weekend numbers are bound to be good .But the actual test for any film will start only from Monday onwards.N if Kurbaan needs a Hit status it has to hold up really well on the second weekend too.

PS- Don't believe IBOS,it's not credible. Bollywood Hungama also gives reports from only selected centres.Till now the most trusted site is BOI which covers almost all centres extensively.

The problem with Kurbaan is that it has very little breathing room with DDD releasing next weekend. Comedies are scoring huge at the BO and with Akshay, Katrina and Priyadarshan combo, DDD is sure to get a very big opening.
