I have a pre-schooler and their class has to go out atleast once in winter in morning to play for 45 minutes!!! if temp. is below zero then they don't go and if windchill temp. is too low like 10 degree or something they won't go but other than that they go out...I certainly hate it!!!! However, they phylosophy for preschooler is they need to get fresh air in winter 'coz if they stay inside they're more likely to get each other's germs/virus ..but if they get fresh air its very imp and their theory is that they dont get cold from temp. but they get more cold from contact of other sick person. I personally don't like my veggie kid going out in freezing temp. she really does not have any meat/fat on her body 😕 but rules are rules.. I guess only option left would be to dress properly..put thermal, jeans, snowpants and on top turttleneck, sweatshirt and then columbia wear atleast my daughter has learnt to walk with all these heavy things by now 😉
