I lovvvvvvvvvved Alka Amin(Manjuji's)acting today👏 her frustrations looked soooooooooooooo real😳the way she shook Simmi..the way she cried😭OMG her acting was awesome! ManjuJi was the ST⭐️R of 11th Nov Episode😊!!

I agree. I rememebr many posting it is not a good show. At that time I told plz wait as this is a new show and give it some time. But now we are all glued. 😊

iamindian, exactly my feelings too. When I saw the promo I never thought I would watch this serial. Now not only I am glued this serial, I am glued to the forum updates as well ! :)

She is one heck of a good actress. I have always been impressed with her and she has never failed to let me down with her talent. She is apparently a veteran of the stage in Delhi. I hope she gets to work in movies. She is so talented and is trying to pull off a very complex character - a mother who has good intentions but does not realize her good intentions are bordering on destroying the very daughter she loves. I hope she wakes up and realizes that forcing a marriage down someone's throat day after day (as my mother once did to me), makes a person miserable. Fortunately I was not like Simi and was able to put a stop to my mother and the community's gossip. There is nothing wrong in being single, independent and financially stable. Sure, it is always nice to have someone, but in the event you never meet that someone then it is not the end of the world.

So, my guess was right, she is a theatre veteran. But I feel as if I have seen her in some Doordarshan serial before, but do not know which one.

I feel the same. In fact, I am still single and on the right side of 30. And I feel I have heard these dialogues so many times at home. I have the habit of writing down in my diary when I am hurt the most. When I hear things like phulkkar gubbara hui hai, Muh bandh rakha kar..buddhu lagti hai, I feel did anyone read my diary. If not so harsh at least the same meaning is conveyed to me by my mom too. And yes i am Me Simi cos I look just the same specially when I look at Simi in her nightgown. Thankfully my self esteem has never been low, so I am fine. Even I am still tired of my moms business of finding someone for me. I have never understood the concept. But yes, Alka Amin is one good an actress. You feel with her in her sorrow and you are irritated with her too.

i do agree manjuji was absolutely fantastic..her acting is so real..and the storyline atleast as far as manuji is concerned is quite realsitic..coz lotsof time we see in families due to frustration sometime mothers behave like this..they start telling all tht ki haan yeh to aapki beti haina..anuj mera..and all tht..it was very real...bt one thing is liek quite irritating..i mean i knw she is amother..she loves her son a lot..so she is so desperate to see him..bt i dnt think any mother after seeing her son behave so badly with his own family ..with his own dad wld again take his side and feel like he is all correct..i mean she loves him..she wants him to come back..bt she shld understand tht RS had tried once..he gave her permission for calling him on dinner and all..bt again he behaved so bad..he is ready to sell his own dad's flat..thts ridiculous...manuji shld realise her son's mistake soon before they go on Baghbaan way....

Shes a typical Indian mom who dotes on her son even after he commits serious crime like stealing his father's life savings, and who badgers and bullies her daughters into unwanted marriages just to get them out of her house!
I hope this show holds a mirror upto such mothers and they realize their own crimes against their daughters.
But yes, Alka Amin is a wonderful actress effortlessly performing this complex role and both RS and Manju are Delhi stage veterans and DD actors.
