Actually, I do agree with you. Especially with the themes that Indian T.V. keep on recycling about antiquated norms and customs. The prevailing opinion of T.V. creatives seem to be entrenched in their ideas that Indian women are simple minded doormats who just are completely incapable of standing up for themselves in the face of injustice, and also are so dumb that they can't even recognise who is a good person and who is not... For God's sake grow up creatives and have some respect for the women of modern India, they are a lot more intelligent and aware than you guys portray them. It IS possible to be a modern woman who is intelligent and sure of herself while also maintaining Indian culture within themselves!!!

That one little sentence from Monish has said it all
Dearies, we have to read the writing on the wall.
He's obviuosly bitter with the channel and must be striving hard to keep AKA afloat. I wish the channel could see beyond the TRPs and let AKA be. What difference would one serial make? They could think of it as a social duty and just let it be.

actually if u compare zee with star plus or sony its been a lot more supportive than they are of their hatke shows. colors on the other hand smart camouflages its shows as issue based ones whereas in reality they are masala shows with a rural setting. in contrast zee regularly promotes AKA on the channel as well as thru other means like newspapers. but AKA is doing good TRP wise. its not the top show on zee but its the top show in its slot. so i dont get it why it shld be moved.
