Pls write something about :
What do you like in Singhania's and Maheshwari's family?
What do you don't like in Singhania's and Maheshwari's family?
You can compare the two families in context of every thing,
1. Acting and dialogue delivery of the members of both the families.
2. Their perspective towards life.
3. Singhania's mansion versus Maheshwari's mansion.
Acc to me the most romantic place is the terrace at akshara's house.😉 . Afterall our so many memories are attached to that place.
Just don't like too many restrictions imposed on our Akshara in Singhania mansion, don't do this, don't do that. Singhania's are very orthodox as compared to Maheshwari's.

Hey Anu nice topic, actuallt all your topics are Awesome. .
I also like Maheshwari mansion a lot, its more inviting more homely compared to Singhania house.
I like the younger generetion of Singhania clan more than of Maheshwari clan (Varsha & Shaurya have become boring now) wre as NAKSH, Mohit, Nandani & Rashimi are more interesting to watch.
Will add more later. . .

Thanks Fouzia,
There is not even a single place in Singhania's mansion which can be called as a most comfortable or romantic one.

Singhania house is prim & proper as they say, actually Maheshwari is also same but it more inviting more homely. Also as you mentioned the Terrace is the best part of Maheshwaris house, other than that thier Angan is also very cute with tree in between and Mnadir on on hand and Kitechen on other. Were as in Singhania house there is sitting area than Tulsi tree and then stairs.
Hey 1 question, I have seen Tulsi tree is outside of the house but in both the Mnasion it is inside of the house?

yes, the younger generation in the singhania house-hold is better, but there is warmth in the Maheshwari house which is missing in Singhania house....as a MIL(to VArsha), Rajshri is doing great, always genuinley supportive of Varsha and when Varsha is there in the kitchen, Rajshri is always there, not leaving everyhting to Varsha. Varsha is treated more like a daughter in the house., she is not always tensed , like how Akshara is...Akshara looks always tensed in the house, she is not really treated like a daughter...there is diff , for eg, at the dining table, Rashmi and Nandidni are sitting and having dinner but Akshsra has to stand and serve like a bahu...she is not even invited to sit, cmon yaar, she is also of the same age group, but she is expected to more responsible jus bcoz she is a bahu....there is no one like daddaji in the maheshwari house because of whom everyone is alwyas expected to be on the toes.....although everyone respects Akshara's dad for being the eldest male member of the family, no one is scared of him....here, everyone is scared of daddji and hence the respect...and the servants in the maheswari house are too good- they are really concerned of the family they serve --like bhola is genuinely interested in Akshara's safety while coming bac from college and Dhaniya and gopi dadi are alwyas dedicatedly doing whatevery they have been asked to do; here, the servants are actually xtended family. In the singhania house, the servants are too loud and poor Akshara keeps getting intimidated and gulabo plays these dirty games sometimes which I am sure no servant in the Maheswari house would do,,,,

Agreed with your views.
There is a spl type of bonding between the family members in Maheshwari's house. Where as is in Singhania's house everybody is scared of Dadda ji.
Dadda ji ko dekh kar Singhania khandaan ko saap sungha jata hai.

In Singhania's clan all the males takes food while sitting at the dinning table and women's of the family stand at their back serving them, except Rashmi & Nandini because both of them are daughters of the family. It is a male-dominated house.
Whereas at Maheshwari's Omi ,Vish, Daddi, Shaurya, Rajshri, Kaki have their food together. Only I think Varsha stands there to serve.

Singhanias are more strict in following rules & regulation, and are also very orthodox. Wre as Maheshwaris are also following rules & regulation but there is some relaxation of rules as per the situation.
