Global OTT Awards 2025 Winners List: Bai Jingting wins for The First Frost, WLGYT beats Black Warrant and more

One of the prime Asian award functions for OTT shows is the Global OTT Awards ceremony. It is a part of the Busan Film Festival and is held at the Busan Cinema Center. The award function happened on August 24 and was attended by actors from South Korea and many other Southeast Asian and East Asian nations. The award ceremony is planned South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Busan Metropolitan City, and co-organized by the Korea International Streaming Festival (KISF) and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).

Bai Jingting won for The First Frost

This is the first big international award for Bai Jingting. His performance as Sangyan touched the hearts of millions the world over. He said in his acceptance speech that the novel and series helped him gain love and warmth from millions all over the world. He thanked fans for loving The First Frost. He said it is a message that people should fully love themselves and feel they deserve the best in life.

Black Warrant was nominated from India

Black Warrant was nominated in the Best Creative category as well as for best newcomer actor. It lost to the award-winning global blockbuster When Life Gives You Tangerines. Zahaan Kapoor was nominated along with Mercy For None and Head Over Heels actor Cho Young-woo.
