Nice topic, Anu...

The Singhania mansion has no warmth...its like a mausoleum...yes, its big but as Charu said the color scheme is so dull and boring...there is no natural light in the drawing room or courtyard (wonder how the tulsi survives?)...rooms and wardrobes are much smaller there than in the Maheshwari house....As others have mentioned, the outside gazebo area is the best part of the Singhania mansion...

I remember the first episode when they showed the inside of the Maheshwari house as Dhaniya was walking into work...it was absolutely beautiful...like a old haveli you would see in Rajasthan. The tree and the open air courtyard is fabulous; the artwork on the walls looked authentic...as Smitu mentioned before, the whole house seemed to fit the people in it...especially the way the Maheshwaris were prior to the wedding...Maheshwaris have always been warm and kind ...especially to the help, and the help reciprocate...The Singhania help is just there to work and back stab...says something about the people they work for..

This is the biggest difference in my opinion between the two families.

Anjali , You put it beautifully.👏

Ok.. I'll start from where i left..

Parents:-

I like the maheswari's more as parents...both the couples are loving towards their child as any parent would be....BUt i think the maheswari are more liberal and understanding of their kids desires and thoughts as compared to singhania....Singhania's just give in to the zid of their Munna but don't agree and understand his viewpoints.

Father:

Naitik's father has no say at all ...(till now)..he agrees to whatever dadaji says and his wife hardly listens to him...whereas Vishambhar has much more authority over his kids and their life ..it is also because he is the eldest there like dadaji in singhania house but till now his cahracter is such that he wouldn't interefere much in Anshu's life ..Anshu's parents will be given due respect acc. to me...
Mother:
Again i like Rajshri more both as a mother and a saas(just leave the grandchild demand aside) she is more caring and is a more loving saas than Gayatri....
Gayatri is a dominating saas...a meethi churi...well saas are like this Rajshri is just an exception so i don't mind Gayatri being so...
But what i feel is she is not a good mother and wife also....she is overly possesive nad concerning towards only one child(Naitik) and we hardly see her with her husband... i mean to say the warmth and love shown in Vish-Rajshri relationship is missing here...

Bhabi Ma, Kaki and Kaka:

Are there just for the filler episodes....they were good only smiling....

Siblings:
Singhania siblings are my favorites...specially Nandini...

Servants:
Bhola-Dhaniya anyday ...this maharaj ji and gulabo😡

Loved your post Sonu.👏

it seems the set designers paid enough attention to designing the maheshwari mansion, but the singhania house was done as an afterthought...the singhania living room looks like the walls have been cut out of thermacole (taj mahal, anyone?). The Maheshwari house is in stark contrast - even the doors look like solid wood (well, almost) but the doors at the singhanias' looks to fake!

Is that? I have not seen Singhania's mansion so minutely will take notice of it.

Singanias have a Modern house & modern furniture but they have not modern thinking, maheshwari have cultural house & furniture But They have A Some Modern Thinking....

It's Singania's Like "Akshara's Nani",
Maheshwari's Like "Akshara's Dadi"

One more similarity Both the ladies of the two houses (Bhabhi Ma,Gayatri,Rajshri,Sunaina) give jal to the tulsi tree. This scene is very very repetative.

Agreed with your views.
There is a spl type of bonding between the family members in Maheshwari's house. Where as is in Singhania's house everybody is scared of Dadda ji.
Dadda ji ko dekh kar Singhania khandaan ko saap sungha jata hai.

absoultely right yaar i luv mahehwari's than sighania's
and i luv d moment when at the time of gangaur shava meet on terrace tht was quite gud
and the tree in there house quite impressive
