First of all I would like to thank our dearest Meera for finding more SV scenes! 🤗

Now on to this weeks scene of the week. It was the scene we were waiting for ever since we found out about Vidya's illiteracy. After hearing her extremely cute 'thankoos', we finally got a full fledged speech in english which I personally felt symbolised the illiteracy of the Singh mansion! It symbolised their ignorance towards the greatness of Vidya. Watch the brilliant Divyanka let out Vidya's frustration....

Enjoy and discuss 😊

This is one scene that I'm not too fond of. The song or the whole idea behind it. Not happy that Vidya had to become literate to show Sagar how much he means to her.

Although, Divyanka and Sharad were fantastic at emoting.

^I was going to say that I didn't like the aftermath but I liked this scene itself. I wanted to scratch someones eyes out in Bebasi 😃

Definitely a scene that everyone remembers. Even if they weren't the biggest BMTD fan...

"No language can ever be above your character. Time and again I have been accused, I have been insulted, I have been put down. Why? What was my crime? My crime was just that I loved you.I wanted to give you a surprise on your birthday!"

Haiii.
Those words touched everyone.
It was finally the side of Vidya we waited way to long to get!! 😊

hehe I should have watched the video first. I thought it was the video for the aftermath. Divyanka was awesome in this one. And yes, I'm with you about scratching the loser's eyes out. I love Sagar, but sometimes he's just SO dumb.😛

Oh I loved those lines....they really do make you sit and think....I felt so happy when I heard her speaking English....it just showed how much she cared and loved Sagar....he really did annoy me sometimes...Sagar may have started to love Vidya afterwards...but I think that Vidya loved him way more than he loved her....her love had always been unconditional....always...even when Sagar was a kid....
And of course...Divyanka acted wonderfully in this scene....Vidya's pain and anger at being accused like so, felt so real to me due to her acting....I felt so proud but sad at the same time....that Vidya had to change herself, maybe for the better, but phir bhi...Sagar accepted her after she changed herself to someone that Sagar could see as his wife....
Thanks Reemz Di and Meera Di too....

This was NO doubt my fav epi ever...it was the best epi of BMTD well for me at least..its some how close to my heart..i watched it tons of time already and i never get tired of it..Divyanka was simply mind blowing in the scene😍 i was watching this scene wit my mom and my aunt and all of us had tears in our eyes..it was the first time i cried while watching Dulhann..then my dad came in and he kept looking at us..man will never us understand women😆 I agree wit Nashr even i didnt like the whole idea behind it. Not happy that Vidya had to become literate to show Sagar how much he means to her.But he was a moron back then..but i was so proud of Vidya that day...it feels great when u see weak characters like her do these things..this was how i wanted them to make the Bahu's in Indian serials like not the weak types...Great scene though..
