There is no justification of Kalyani's behaviour what so ever..... am totally agianst justifying her..

If Kalyani had explained to the family or Anandi's parents that she did not want to go to Mahavir Singh (and that is understandable), she knew him and he was an enemy, but couldn't tell them why, the children might not have gone. The way she did it, Anandi's family probably thought that she'd always hated Anandi and was just being nasty.
And the first time Suguna got married, Kalyani actually asked them to buy a gold ring or chain for the son-in-law. Of course he didn't want a repeat. Yes, she thought they had got Bhairon to get the land back, but it's very rude to make such a demand. It was stupid of Khajan Singh to mortgage his land, but this is really common in rural India, a lot of people lose their land to arrange for festivals and weddings.
Now Kalyani is blaming Anandi for Jagya's gambling etc, how can this be justified?
