WOW I AM THE FIRST ONE okey i just came back from seeing MAMK

What is great that i saw the film before i read any critic review as they say i went with clean mind i didn't know what to expect and guess what the film was pleasant surprise i really really really mean it , i enjyed a lot this film take us back to 90s and early 2000 where a love story films where actually a love story films sweet, simple, make you laugh with them not on them like most todays films , and touch your heart actually the emotion part in the film was well made and most important you can watch it with your family and have fun [but please do not go with the expecation that you will see DDLD,HAHK or QSQT]

It is not perfect film there were FEW unnecessary and quite confuse parts but what was good more then what was bad

PERFORMANCES

Salman he looks old in some part i don't know what wrong with his hair but if we put his look and hair a side he gave great performance, this kind of role where he is clam and NORMAL men reallly suit him

Kareena i like you guyz first to know i am not kareena fan but i have to admit she looks gorgeous and her performans was abousluty AWESOME just watch her at airport scene at the begging , i am not saying this is her best performance but definitely ONE OF HER BEST WORK
Sohail i can't believe i am saying this i thought he is the weakest thing in MAMK but believe it or not he was Scene Stealer, his last scene make you smile while leaving the theater

Yash Tonk AWESOME all his scenes with sohail were funny


SPECIAL APPEARANCES

preity she was good and looks beautiful in her one scene and song i really want to kick the director he kept shouting she is not just item she has and has and .... ect made me expect a lot and at the end what i get one scene thanks god the film was good or i would really kicked him Lol since she was the only reason i went to see the film anyway i was happy to see her on screen after long time

PERFOMANCE:
1/ salman khan- in the role of sameer, he tries to make you like him but unfortunately, he completely disappoint me this time..even in his "comedy" scenes, he doesnt make you laugh (2.5*)

2/ kareena- i would nott say that this is her best perfomance, but one of her best in recent times (4*)

3/ sohail khan- now this is a surprise...what a good actor man, though he should try to do better with his dialogue delivery, otherwise, excellent 4.5*

4/ yash tonk- again surprise..he was excellent in the role of arsh 4*

5/ bappi lahiri- he plays quite an important role in the movie...quite good 3*

6/others- nauheed ok, tia robers good, preity over acts

DIRECTION:
prem soni could have done better...at certain places, you kept wondering that some scenes were not important...

MUSIC:
quite good...alvida and hapenning best..other like mrs khanna impressive

BEST SCENES:
1/ introduction of melbourne(first scene)
2/raina and sammer meets i orphanage and sameer aks for surname and so on...
3/ alvida song with children and church
4/ after marriage, change in behaviour of samer and raina
5/ candle light dinner
6/ sameer anounces raina of going to singapore
7/ airport, where raina found the truth of her not going to singapore
8/ raina met akash
9/telephone trick (1111)
10/ most post interval scenes are good and better...

OVERALL:
its an average movie that not all people will like...if you like romantic movies, watch this one...watch it for kareena and sohail...3* over five

Sallu was as usual kareena was good
Sohail acted brillantly but some scenes he overacted
Ishk vishk guy was average
Songs as we all know its outstanding don say was the best track
Typical romantic movie with extra martial affair with a slight comedy in it and some beautiful songs
According to me SALLU & SONGS saved the movie...

A MEMBER OF IFM FORUM

After watching MAMK, most people would describe it as SWEET film. Its one of those films which is conventional yet non conventional. We have all been used to the candy floss kinda NRI films churned out by KJ and YRF with its mushiness and BG score to add to the romantic effect. This one's a bit different. Its treated with a sense of reality and the romance is suttle.

Its one of those films which grows on you. Slowly but surely. First half is very subtle and at times confusing. But its the second half which takes the cake. Highly entertaining and very sweet.

Prem Soni is another addition to bright young directors who could hold mastery over MULTIPLEX AUDIENCES. He has talent and will surely get better with time. Watch out for him.

Performances:

Sohail Khan : Sohail Khan surprises you and how. Its a sorta author backed role with the best lines. He brings the fun element in the film and deserves credit for the way he has performed. He seems at ease with these kinda roles.

Salman Khan : Overall he was very good. The first few scenes just before AJEEB ITEFAQ was actually lessons on bad acting or to be good to him how not to act. But after that Salman was excellent. An under sketched role elevated to high esteem by salman's persona, maturity in performance and sincerity.

Kareena Kapoor : She was good but it certainly is not one of her best performances.

Yash Tonk : Was Superb.

Bappi da : Funny with his typical accent.

Preity Zinta : She looked very pretty in the song and the couple odd scenes she had.

Songs: All were very good, the best of the lot being Happenin. A special mention on Tum ne socha, Salman totally slept through that song.

Overall:

Its a very sweet film which is bound to do well overseas and multiplexes. Its treated on terms of reality rather than melodrama. If you want to go on a movie with your family. This is certainly a great choice. Ladies will certainly love this one and family audience will also endorse it. But if u are an all boy gang, u would prefer ALL THE BEST.

the movie is pretty nice. Salman looked bad ,old and tired in the first half but in the second half esp the last 45 minute he was too good. Kareena looked gorgeous esp in the songs wow and of course she was GREAT .. i love her and for me she was the best thing in the movie. Sohail mmmm was funny in some moments.
the sp.apps were good ,preity have one scene and song

Lolz, no yaar, that's not my review, haha. I havent seen it yet, but I'm keeping track of the ppl that have, lol

I'm gonna see it next week.
