How can kids be so cruel to other kids...!?!?!? - Page 3

Yea its not just in India I am a child and in my school in America theres so many bully kids I just hate them!!!!!!!! But you know that there just kidding in the show! I think everyone really likes Antara even the mean people in the show!

I have to agree with indiakalra. My daughter went through some terrible bullying the whole of last year and the school did almost nothing because of legalities. It was very disheartening.

Skeps, That is the ideal, yes, but in the US, we are restricted by laws which protect the bully also. Our only recourse would have been to bring in a lawyer.

I won't get into the details, but we took the issue to very high levels with no resolution and it was not till a very serious issue was revealed in the bully kid's life that the state stepped in to investigate. Then everyone suddenly began to take it seriously. By then the school year was at an end.

People live much more disparate lives in the US, and don't automatically subscribe to the same codes of behaviour. I cannot just go talk to the kid's parents; it was considered too risky.
