Hi everyone,
I am new to this show, but have been able to see most episodes through youtube.
after seeing many episodes and reading a few posts here, I felt like giving my view too.... Hope you all don't mind.
first, I would say out of all the people in the show, I liked Rajbir for his phisique, and Nandita and Gaurav and Hitesh for their education. and Pooja for her phisique and beautiful eyes.
Second, I really wish they could show this show for 2 to 3 hrs so that we could get good amount of what is happening, it is basically a 1 hr show i suppose and out of which there is more of a narration going on in the background than showing or allowing us to listen what is actually going on there.
Now, I would like to tell what i like and don't like about some of the girls and boys I have mentioned above.
The first thing I thought was why is there a need for such a beautiful doctor like Nandita to search for a groom on a national telivision I am sure she must be getting plenty of offers already.
Nandita : Her intellectual and her individuality and confidence in herself shows on her face. and I really think she should not compromise her future plans about going to US for higher studies, just to get married and settle in life. She has worked hard to get to the positon where she is now and she should not compromise on that for someone who will come now into her life.
But, if given a choice to choose out of these 5 only I would say Gaurav would be my choice out of all of the five for Nandita, as he is well qualified as he has studied from IIM, and would surely understand the importance of acheving and learning more in career and studies. and Also, he would understand the responsibilities attached to a high-end performing job as he himself is in one.
And also, his mother is not strong about many things, she just has few things which she surely wants. But I think even if She is stubborn about many things she is much better to handle with gaurav in handy than vivek and his mom.
I would say Nandita considering Vivek is bad choice as he is very strong on the subject that He will always be a mama's boy, his mothers decision will be priority over anyother thing and he is already 31 and if Nandita wants to study further say for 4 years then its 35, and I don't think vivek mom by what I feel, will ever be happy with that, and if this decision is left after marriage, she will surely make tantrums, emotional blackmail etc to keep nandita from going further and I don't know but I feel strongly about it. and nandita is 25 now and by the time she is done with her studies in us for which she has to write exams and clear them even if she does in first go, it will be 30 before she can come back settle down and continue which I think is ok for nandita, now but not for vivek.
Also, I think, Vivek's mom says she is cool about her not cooking etc, and her son waiting but by what I saw she is not cool about anything and if nandita selects vivek, she will everyday have to listen and do according to his mom. and there would never be support from vivek in that matter.
One more thing is Vivek looks innocent and has that quality of persuasiveness in him to make otherperson fall for his words, and that is dangerous in the longrun.
Nandita by what i feel is very educated but she is soft and very understanding.
Priyanka sharma :
the first thing is she is well educated, and I feel sorry that she never had a mom to feel the warmth and cozyness and keep feeling protected.
But, one thing I feel is she is not innocent and she is manipulative. she knows how to get her work done. and she knows what she wants and also understands what she needs to do to get it.
Rajbir : He has big built body but he is very emotional and as his mother said he has kept a joint family together and I also feel he has a little inferiority complex which priyanka has caught hold off.
with his kind of phyisque, and running a family business one would expect him to be very strong minded in what he wants, but he is not strong.
the only thing he is looking for in a girl is someone who is innocent, and who can be his pillar of strength when he feels weak, give him comfort when he is tired of dealing with issues, have a smiling attitude to wards everyday life.
I think this could probably, i am only guessing because of him being in a joint family, and having to deal or see numerous problems on a day to day basis and solving them and also, getting used to everyone being baised and he is always the one that gives away in a tiff or in any other thing, to keep things calm and quiet and thus avoiding issues which is not good for him or his would be wife in the long run.
He doesnot have a big degree, but he will prove to be the best husband for a sweet and soft women as he understands what a girl feels, he is emotional and can never hurt other person. as he said in his interview he needs that girl with let go attitude so that she can take many things lightly when things heat up in a joint family.
If Priyanka married Rajbir he would just become a puppet in her hands as she knows how to tackle him get what she wants done.
Pooja : she is lively and I think she is beauty with brains, she has that tact of priyanka to get her things her way and the chirpyness of vrinda or livelyness to keep things lite, this one matches Rajbir better as I feel at times Rajbir will need to stand for himself there will surely be a day and that day Pooja will stand up for him, but she is not manipulative as much as Priyanka so she will gel well with Rajbir's joint family and she knows to be witty and funny which will always keep the atmosphere lite for everyone to enjoy.
But one thing is Pooja's family is from what i saw has some kind of classy status the way they talk which I don't know if it will gel well with Rajbir's family.
Hitesh : He is well educated too, I like him for his non-stop talking and always analysing things in a lawyer mode. He and his mother , they just need a wife or bahu who can dress classyly everyday and who can entertain guests and never get tired of entertaining.
for him Pooja is good as he wants only a fair girl so that everyone can admire his wife for her beauty. and Pooja is very fair, and her classy look will go well with them and his mom is very open about saying it Pooja. But I think this family can gel easily with Pooja's family as I have said they look to be a classy status oriented people.
But If pooja selects Hitesh then she should never be tired of wearing makeup and looking good at all times of the day that is what their in-laws priority is they really don't care about her studies, or if she wants to work or not as Hitesh and his mom only want a house wife and they don't need anything else.
This is good, but It may not be good in the long run.
there is Rajbir, who I think will never get angry on anything or anyone, he is too innocent for hurting or getting angry on anyone... he is one, who will always keep caution so that no one will get angry on him.
Hitesh is Very aggressive about everything , his happiness, sad ness, his anger everything, and now I can understand why he choose Law as his profession. But if you see the overall picture he is well balanced, if he becomes angry on someone, he just lets it out on them doesnot keep anything in his heart and then after he is done saying it he is back to normal, like nothing happened. It is the same with everything, even if he is sad, he will show it openly and when he has said why he is sad and reason behind it ... he is done being sad and back to pulling others legs or being happy or analysing. his mind works on multiple things at a time. he cannot keep anything to himself he has to let it out the same minute and this may seem rediculous now but will be good in the long run.
Gaurav : I think he is calm and hundred things are going on in his mind but his face will be calm, you cannot read much from his face I think thats what is taught in MBA people management and control on emotions :). either he can mask very well his emotions or he just takes any issue with liteness.
and out of all the people here he is the one scrutinizing every thing that he wants in a girl and thinking a lot about who will be good for him in every way. But, I think he is always not saying what is going on in his brain but revealing only partial things to get other opnion on the questions he has or only reavealing those things where he wants someones advice. His education and experience of tackling people is surely being used here to get his questions or queries answered.
and If I am right he knows where to say no to his parents and where to say no to his wife. He surely knows how to be between them and tackle them but will not volunteer for it. unless presurised by his wife or mother to be there and tackle things.
