I cant think of any scene off the top of my head right now...I'm sure there are quite a few but for now-- 1947 Earth-- the movie was FAB. I watched it with frens and I remember even after the movie was over, there was an array of silence. we were sad and it made me think for so long....

The scene-- When they were dragging Nandita Das out of the house- Aamir gives this LOOK. That just one look described it all- Hatred, Rage, Anguish, Deception, Vengeance......What an amazing actor man!!!
I'm not sure whether I'd like to watch this scene over and over again but it's haunting. Its amazing how a simple scene project so much.

You know 1947 Earth was shot very close to where I live and I know the scene you are talking about. Aamir was so good in the film and in that one scene he just stole the movie for me. I think that is Aamir's best performance and also Deepa Mehta's best film.

Mr and Mrs. Iyer: I actually have a lot of favourite scenes from this film but the best one is probably when Konkona says to Raja "How easy is it to kill a man" during the riots when they are at that guesthouse. I get shivers whenever I see that scene.

Omkara: The scene right before Langda throws Rajju into the talab when he is mocking Langda for not doing anything about not being made bahubali.

Maqbool: The scene wear Tabu points that gun at Irfan/Maqbool. Both of them were fantastic there.

Hmm the scene that always makes me bawl is the last scene of Sadma where Kamal Hassan tries to make Sridevi remember him and acts as a monkey and Sridevi throws him a roti. This scene made me cry my eyes out! :( Brilliant performance by Sri and Kamal!
