However, Sonam Kapoor knows quite well how to race ahead of her contemporaries. As per the survey of the magazine 'People', this newcomer has beaten the likes of Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor to emerge as the best dressed celebrity in India. Following her are Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Twinkle Khanna in the second, third and fourth position respectively.

Speaking about her style statement, Sonam says, "My style isn't about trends. I don't let the clothes wear me, I wear them."
