Kasthuri tells Ganesh her father is very sick and is worried about her. Porkodi gets ready and goes in for her first night. She tells Ganesh she is happy that he has agreed to stay with them. Ganesh asks who told her and she says Kasthuri. Ganesh agrees to stay with then an both are happy.

Raj, his sister and mother are discussing about purchases for the wedding. Bharath comes there and they tell him about their expenses. Bharath is unable to tall them the truth about Thiagu and worries.

At home, Pokodi and her sister teasing each other. Ganesh comes there and Porkodi asks about Kasthuri and Ram. Ganesh tells that Ram murdered his 2nd wife Rekha and went to jail. He just briely tells Pokodi that Kasthuri suffered alot and Ram never accepted Kasthuri as his wife. Later Kasthuri married Thiru who is now dead. Porkodi wants Ganesh to tell her the entire story.

Ganesh goes to the dining table and his BIL asks Porkodi to bring tiffin. Selvam tells Ganesh he wishes for his to stay with them. Ganesh says he will for Pokodi's sake until he gets married. Selvam gtells Ganesh to take Porkodi to Ooty but Ganesh says theu will go at a latter date. THODARUM.
