I feel the best reaction on Sony's part should have been to air Panna's performance as it is: with him shouting cut and being told that there can be no re-takes. That would have been interesting. For all you know, he might still have got enough votes to clear the 1st galas. He seems to have a strong female voter base which might have showered him with sympathy votes. But all said and done, he's in and thats it.
