I heard the qawwali yesterday, Debu was brilliant in that Ishq Ishq part....he blew me away with thant taan or whatever you call it, at the end...my dad who is not into any tv program all that much actually walked out of his study to listen to this song and actually asked me who was singing...

guys be realistic ok this is a competition, for a moment I thought debo was reading a book not singing. I dont care whether its a difficult song or a easy song when u select a song u should do justice to it and they got a whole damn week to reharse and perform.

It is like you appear for an exam and u try to attempt a difficult question and screw it up and asking for marks just b'coz u attempted a difficult question....how silly...

So what if he had the lyrics infront. ALL THE FAMOUS SINGER DOES THAT. It is a singing contest not a contest to check who could memorize the lyrics.

Have you ever heard the original, or any qawali. In almost all qawali's there are lines where the singers just read the lines. So Debu was not reading.

And if you think he did not do justice to the song, then I pity your judgement.

It was one of the best performances and Debo deserved full 10. He rendered the qawali with very difficult taans, all in one go. Only ID could have chosen this song 👏 👏 👏

its not the point that as to whether he had lyrics in front of him or in his head....there is no punch of qawali at all in what he sang....he is a disaster !!!!

I think those who are bashing Debu are completely missing the point. He sang a song that was done by 5 singers in one shot after rehearsing for 1 week or even less. He made mistakes, yes. But a 6 and a 7? C'mon, give me a break. At THIS stage in the competition there aren't even any 6/7 valued singers left! What the heck were they thinking? If they wanted to be picky, sure, 9/10 would've worked like Jatin gave him, but 6 and7? Can you honestly sit there and tell me that was fair? And this whole walk-out natak...it just shows you how immature these contestants AND judges are. I used to be a big Himani fan, but after seeing what the three of them did, not only was I disgusted, but I also regret ever giving a 17 year old any more credit than they deserve! They're just too immature!

I hope Debu wins to just shut everyone up, this contest is so stupid now.

absolutely....and to top it ID always comments b'fore Debo comes on the stage that its a very difficult song any mistakes to be forgiven...blah blah blah......when he is aware such type of songs come out well when recorded in a studio with retakes not live singing....

now everyone shd start taking difficult songs and screw it up and come up with a lame excuse.."its a very difficult song".... 😉

Deboo is the best........After attempting that song,I just cannot think that Hema would have also attempted this song.

Deboo will definitely win.
