Rani Mukherjee, the husky, dusky gorgeous babe of bollywood who looks sizzling hot after losing some kilos for upcoming flick 'Dil Bole Hadippa'(starring Shahid Kapur etc), failed to enthuse the crowds at the Toronto International Film Festival due to her shoddy fashion sense.
Rani Mukherjee had gone to the film festival to promote her mega- budget Yashraj flick 'Dil Bole Hadippa', but her off shoulder gown and black sandals irked the viewers. In fact, Rani Mukerji was visibly uncomfortable in this plum but ill-fitting gown, perhaps made for the occasion by her designer.
However, the dusky bollywood diva tried to make up for her style faux pas by signing autographs and posing with fans for photographs. Rani Mukherjee's natural charm came into play and the lady somehow tried to pull herself out of the soup that she had created.
But Rani Mukherjee's bad gown sense did not make the crowds less enthusiastic about the flick. In fact, Rani went to the extent of dancing with the Bhangra dancers on the occasion to promote the film among the large numbers of Punjabi migrants in Canada, especially in Toronto and the neighboring areas.
Sources say that Rani Mukherjee was ecstatic after seeing the response of the audience towards her upcoming flick 'Dil Bole Hadippa' at the film festival. In fact, she was so overjoyed with them that she started impromptu dancing.
It may be recalled that Rani Mukherjee-Shahid Kapur starrer flick 'Dil Bole Hadippa' could not get the 'U' certificate (due to Sherlyn Chopra, Rakhi Sawant's skimpy outfits and sensual dancing) from the censor board and the husky actress was particularly disturbed about this thing. This was so because Rani Mukherjee thinks that family audience was her main support base, which would be affected by this certification from the censor board.
However, after seeing the response of audiences at Toronto Film Festival, Rani Mukherjee is said to have become somewhat assured about the prospect of her upcoming project at the box office.
'Dil Bole Hadippa' is a sports based flick being offered from Yashraj stable after the super success of Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Chak De India' at the box office. The film revolves around the game of cricket and Rani Mukherjee's character wants to join the cricket team.
Rani plays the character of 'Veera' and 'Veer' in the flick, while Shahid Kapur plays her love interest. The flick also has sexy sirens Sherlyn Chopra and Rakhi Sawant playing important steamy characters in it.
