I am new to show:why did Bebo marry Amrit

I just started watching the show a week or so now and I still don't understand why Bebo married Amrit.
I mean she is from a very rich family and is very loved by her parents and other family members. There is no apparent love between Bebo and Amrit - they don't seem to lead a normal married life then what made Bebo marry Amrit? I just don't get it. Can someone please give me a brief.

Well bebo marriage first got fixed with amrits cousin shravan and on the wedding day find out bebo is not the narangs real daughter and break the marriage amrit becomes good friends with bebo and slowly he relises he loves her and trys to tell her by giving gifts and he wrote a letter which never reached bebo when she wore his dress he thought she loved him which was a misunderstanding then this new track introduced where simran obroi and her bro karan enter who falls for bebo and is bad bebo middle bro daljeet morgages the house as he lost money in share investment and the person did fraud with him and was with simran she blackmail bebo into marrying her bro and the house bebo goes against her family to marry him on wedding day the weddings stopped by the dad and amrit tells them he loves bebo and wants to marry her on the wedding night bebo tells amrit she only sees him as a friend and will never be able to love him which leaves amrit heartbroken they r staying like friends in front of family they act like a couple
