we don't know if she asked him to do it or if she asked him NOT to do it. but i do THINK if she were to tell him NOT to hold the press conference and to just let it be because her father had ALREADY filed a police complaint against salman, he would have obliged. he was her boyfriend/puppy, he was like over the moon in love with her, her wish was his command. so she mustve had SOME part in the press conference.

and that's a rather bold statement for vivek to make to say that hes in the same position as salman. which implies he was ditched for favor of someone else. articles said that same thing when they were dating/breaking up... Abhishek left deepanita for Ash and Ash left Vivek for Abhishek.

again these are my assumption/interpretation of the various articles ive read in the past.

of course, that is my own speculation from what i have seen or heard... since we were not there, it's hard to speculate who said exactly what... but considering ash's behaviour overall, i thought it was a safe speculation... of course, he would have done... such is the case with many smitten men, isn't it... but she was not the one who forced him to call salman all sorts of names after that press conference and become cocky over the fact that she was seeing him... that was his own prerogative.... hence, i do take that into account in my previous paragraph... again, how much 'hand' she had, one can only guess... considering she cut off all ties with him shortly after this whole fiasco, i kinda doubt she had much 'hand' in it... again, that's my speculation... it's another matter that i feel quite sure i am right, LOL...

i don't consider it as a rather 'bold' statement... ash left salman because he repeatedly abused her... any sane women would do that... and she avoided him like a plague after that, did she not... hence several stories of him landing on sets and throwing his little temper tantrums around... why should she have given him any explanation... to say the least, he got what he deserved...!

fact is, that most men when are rejected try to blame women as if they had been saints in a relationship... so even if it wasn't that she left him for someone but just left him first and then found someone... the fact that she found someone would never have sat well with him anyways... although, most men seem to not understand or get the point when their calls are missed or their visits not greeted upon... it's a generalization i am making but again, from my experience and based on what i have seen, i believe i am correct...

hence, reason i said, i don't blame her at all... because i can understand where she is coming from... others may or may not necessarily hold this view...

I hadn't watched this interview so thanks to the OP for posting it.
IMO Vivek is just complaining about how he was treated by Salman - he didn't say that Salman abused his then GF or anything like that . Its unfair to blame the woman in question Aish here just because Salman couldn't let go of Aishwarya and Vivek wanted to show off to her.
It was Salman's decision to make the phone call and Vivek's decision to hold that press conference - he should take responsibility for it rather than trying to blame circumstances and apologizing now.
Blaming Aishwarya for this whole fiasco really irks me as a feminist.
There is no proof that she goaded Vivek into this. And as for her standing by him - she never said she was with him unless I am mistaken it was all from Vivek's side. I also fail to see how Vivek was standing up for Aishwarya - he was standing up for himself.

well said Roshini... and needless to say, i completely agree....

even in general, i find it irritating that some fans fail to notice how salman abused ash but give him a clean chit for being a 'lover scorned'.... 🤢 if that were the case, we should all be saluting the wife beaters.... they too love their wives afterall... it's just that they have a little 'temper' problem...!

moving on to vivek... exactly true... he got cocky... that's his bad... how is it ash's fault...? both salman and vivek were at fault, from what i have seen/heard/read... but they are the ones who are portrayed as 'becharas'.... 😕

Some people still question whether the whole domestic violence thing is true, because Salman has never spoken about it. As if the man would be itching to tell the world that he hits his girlfriends. And then the next line of defense is that "at least he is honest" or "he has a heart of gold". I am sorry, but what BS!

About Vivek: It is about time he owned up to his own actions. He decided to have the press conference, and he spent most of the time talking about himself and Salman, and not Aishwarya.

I remember as a child I loved the Eid festivities my dad's friend would bring a big "tiffin carrier" filled with Biryani and that rice pudding without fail. Me and my brother would eat that as tho we havent been fed for a year 😆. I need to get my self some good biryani soon and then of course the channa batura and all the other chaats mentioned in this thread - who started posting those pics ? way to ruin my day since I cant get any decent chaat here 😡😆

The same articles have also said that Vivek left his fiance Gurpreet for Aishwarya. So, when he had absolutely no qualms about ditching Gurpreet for greener pastures, he hardly has any right to be angry when Aishwarya allegedly does the same. As far as I know, Aishwarya had broken up with Salman before she moved on to Vivek; ergo, it's not her responsibility to send Salman a memorandum when she has a new boyfriend.

that is soooo true... which person would admit it... it's funny to see people saying, i want him to say it... yeah, keep waiting then... going by that logic, a lot of terrorists are also involved in charity... so do they also have a heart of gold...?? 😕

vivek i think is only apologizing because he wants to resurrect his own career... all this talk about him being able to 'relate to salman now' because he is in the same position is all a huge pile of baloney... rubbish, in other words...!

^Agree! Such double standards! But Ash and Salman had officially broken up, and as for Vivek he never told his ex when he dumped her! She found out through the papers! Vivek that's call karma! Deal w/it!

yes, you are right...

it's a fact that ash had broken up with salman... all the stories about him trying to make up to her and landing up on her sets came afterwards... and her hooking up with vivek (from vivek's boastings) came even after that...!

ok so after reading most of the post i have come to this conclusion

First , it was wrong of Rani not to speak up and side with Vivek and Aish in this whole fiasco. People are blaming her caz she gave her career a priority. So basically she should have spoken up and talked even though she had nothing to do with this whole mess.

Secondly, Rani is a BIg fat Culprit for not speaking up but it's all good that Aish decided to play safe and not say a damn word. Remind me again, who did vivek have this conference for? Was it Rani or Aish..now i am confused🤔

Third, it's all good that Aish didn't even break up with Vivek before she started dating abhisek. Just caz she is a woman, it's allowed and oh ya ..and of course Vivek deserved it. Wow, talk about double standards. What aish did was also called CHEATING. But of course, it's ok caz Vivek had it coming and he deserved it😳

And last but not least (actually most important), a key to a Successful relationship is ALOO Puri😆
