Highlights : Pratap's mother insults Suguna.
Shyam is beaten up
Suguna and Shyam in danger

Suguna stands at seeing Pratap's mother(PM) approach. PM sees her and keeps walking. Suguna tries to take her blessing, but is stopped. PM tells her that there was no need for such fake formalities when there is no relationship between them. Suguna tells her that even though Pratap is no more, she considers PM to be just like her mother. PM tells her that she can never be a mother such an abshagun girl. She accuses Suguna of bringing ill-luck to Pratap, which eventually resulted in his death.

PM continues to accuse Suguna of being responsible for Pratap's death. She tells Suguna that she didn't even think enough of Pratap since she got remarried before Pratap's death anniversary. She keeps hurling insults at Suguna. Shyam gets angry and tells PM to stop. He tries to take Suguna from there. PM continues to insult them both, accusing that Suguna's illegitimate baby is probably Shyam's which is why they got married in a hurry. She calls Suguna characterless. Shyam threatens PM to not insult Suguna

PM's servants start shoving and hitting Shyam. Suguna is upset at PM's words, seeing Shyam getting beaten up, she faints and falls, rolling off the steps. PM does nothing to help her. SHyam gets a big whack on his head. He too falls semi-conscious and rolls down on the steps.

At the haveli, Gehna shows Sumitra the baby socks she has made for her baby and Suguna. Sumitra is very excited in anticipation of the babies' arrival. In the temple, Suguna regains consciouness. She panics for her baby and starts yelling out to Shyam. Shyam, who is just barely conscious, tries to approach her. As he sees Suguna writhing in pain, he struggles and gets to her and panics. He tells Suguna to remain calm. PM and her servants ignore the two of them and leave. The priest comes there to help S&S. He tells SHyam that there is no hospital around. Shyam runs limping to PM and begs with her to help them and drop them at the nearest hopital.

PM ignores Shyam and drives away. Shyam comes back to see Suguna's condition deteriorating. The priest tells him there is no transport around. He suggests that he take Suguna via an unpaved path to the nearby village. Shyam carries Suguna and walks on the path. A few minutes later, Basanth comes to the temple. Shyam struggles to bear Suguna's weight and trips a few times. He sees that Suguna is not conscious anymore and panics again, pleading Suguna to stay awake. Basanth is told everything by the priest and he immediately drives to the village hospital. Shyam manages to get Suguna to the hospital. He places her on the stretcher and as Suguna is wheeled away, he falls down and passes out.

Message : When someone touches your heart, their safety and health becomes the most important thing in life.

Precap : Suguna and Shyam are bandaged. Suguna asks Shyam why he did all this. What if something had happened to him. Shyam tells her that he only cares about her and her baby. Without her he would die anyway, so in a way he has saved his own life. Suguna is touched.
