They always have GunUr and SaYank scenes in contrast.. First when MN were trying to realize their feelings and now when SG are at the verge of realizing theirs. This topic is sort of made in regards to the four different situations involving GunUr and SaYank.. This post is kind of long so bear with me..

SaYank (Mayu's realization)
I used to LOVE almost all of those scenes when Sammy helped Mayu realize what he really felt for Nupur. The scene after they come back from AC meet and when Mayank accidentally mentions Nupur. The bench scene from rose day where Samrat is trying to figure out what was with Mayank. The scene from the play where Sam convinces Mayu to participate in the play. The SaYank scene right before terrace when Mayu decides he will find faults in Nupur. The three wink scenes and to some extent also the scene where Mayank says his cheezy line about "Nishana sadhofying".... Mayank and Samrat connected really well in those scenes and somehow Samrat had played a role in Mayank realizing his feelings for Nupur.
SaYank (Sam's realization)
Although its only recently that Sam's realization has come on the forefront... even in the scenes from the past there have been times when Mayank has sort of played a part in Sammy realizing his love for Gunjan. The bench scene from the drama day. The basketball court scene where Samrat tells Mayank he was talking about Sheena not Gunjan. The scene were Mayank explains to Samrat the chemistry, and physics (and biology?) of love. And ofcourse, today was one of the best SaYank scenes from recent times. It was a casual talk between friends regarding some girl. Very normal for a change. I finally felt it was actually Mayank talking and not Nupur's new found Raj explaining what the water level should be at in order to determine if its love.
GunUr (Gunjan's realization)
Now its been a while since Gunjan realized she loved Samrat and although Nupur has not played a big role in helping Gunjan realize it.. she has definitely played a main part in helping Gunjan cope up with it. Nupur realized right away after she came back from AC meet that Gunjan had some sort of feelings for Samrat and it was because of her love funda that Gunjan first realized she might be in love. And thereafter Nupur has always been around for Gunjan throughout. Nupur was there to comfort Gunjan in the bathroom scene right after play parts were given out. Nupur was there to confront Samrat about Gunjan's love. Nupur was there to console Gunjan after their friendship breaks off. Nupur was there all throughout the Sheena fiasco.. She stood up for Gunjan and challenged Sheena. Nupur was there for Gunjan throughout this crazy rollercoaster ride that Gunjan was on involving Samrat. And even today we see how Nupur runs after her sister making sure she was ok.
GunUr (Nupur's realization)
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Gunjan. She did NOT realize why Nupur was sooo happy after the "terrace" scene because Samrat enters and Gunjan goes all giddy about that. Gunjan did NOT happen to see what her sister was going through during the play rehearsals because she was tooo busy trying to help Samrat get gifts for Sheena. Gunjan did NOT watch her sister's play because she instead chose to cry over a guy (Samrat). Gunjan has never stood up for her sister or confronted her, consulted her, or comforted her in any way or form and even now whenever there is a GunUr scene its always Gunjan crying over Samrat. I am not against Gunjan but for God's sake... please show us some sister bonding where they are crying over missing their parents (like they did in the very beginning) instead of Gunjan constantly crying over Samrat.
Whew.... I am done now.. Please feel free to rip apart what I have written or post your own thoughts regarding this. I am in no way bashing anyone and this is just something that I have noticed based on what is being shown in the show...

Well said, tough the tracks are still dragging, im finally glad that sayank scens are no longer comparing girls to basket balls and bikes, their scene today was nice, cant say i loved it, coz i didnt.
Gunur was okay today too, i guess Nupur has always been a more caring sister than gunjan, since creatives cant let gunajn do anything but cry over samrat 24/7.
i would have wrote more but im really not in the mood for discussions atm.
Thanks.

@neha

I have always enjoyed gunur scenes more than sayank....

as long as mayank behaved like himself i liked sayank scenes.. but since he started behaving like samrat.. what with dangerous dialogues with physics chemistry biology etc.. their scenes would freak me out.... the pool side convo where mayank and samrat talked about their lady loves was so OTT to me..... they were walking talking like twin brothers.... but today was way better.....mayank talked sense and samrat listned though the science fiction dialogue was a little odd....

now coming to gunur
i thought their scenes were one of the best in MJHt.... the sisters always behaved like friends not rivals... i have seen a lot of sibbling rivalry but there has never been one in the two sisters....nupur has always been extremely caring towards gunjan.... i really liked her dialogue today....when she said that if samrat could do so much for her(gunjan) then he must surely love her...

As for their respective love realisations.... i think nupur and mayank is really helping SG....samrat's help to Mayank was good but gunjan never realised about her sister's love....strange.. but maybe its because nupur had a very random realisation... even i didn't understand when and how she fell in love....😕

totally agree neha!

Sayank scene wasn't bad today actually...it was normal...

gunjan-nupur scenes are usually good! at least they make sense!

n well gunjan herself said "kahin usko pata to nahi chal gaya ki main sote jaagte sirf uske baarein mein sochti hu" so obviously she can only cry for sammy boy 24x7... she can't think abt anyone else... :S

Interesting analysis..

Now that you ve mentioned i do find it a little odd that gunjan never realized nupur's change, particularly after the tarrece scene.

As far gunjan caring or consoling nupur goes, she is younger so its ok.

i love the rant, neha!!!presses the like button 874657854637892001239484546378290394 times ...unfortunately bogey green is the only color we goldies have to contend with for the like button🤢

first off...sayank.yes,samrat did play a pivotal role in mayank accepting his love for nupur.mayank was trying to fight off his feelings and samrat was helping him face them.mayank being the intelligent guy, figured out his feelings and did a bad job at hiding them.
samrat,on the other hand, having already been with other girls before, sheena for ex,took a longer time to figure out his feelings.however i must say he does a better job than mayank about hiding them.experience i guess *sigh*
mayank being the intelligent one again has "cracked the code" about samrat having feelings.[of course RV had done ot first, but hes a negative, his opinions dont count, okay?lets slap him and kick his royal butt.]
now mayank is giving subtle hints to samrat.suits him better that way.but samrat is a notch below nupurs smartness level[im not calling him dumb],so he will take longer to realize than nupur. *headdesk*

as for gunur..i have no doubts on the subject that the gunjan character was supposed to grow from a nervous introvert to a confident person over the period.but the essence of the character has been botched up after he realization.sad really.nupur didnt change at all(okay, that is a different issue i wont rant about it now).i could have dealt with a gunjan on a learning curve dealing with the stress and still coming out as a stronger individual.not this crying version, who invariably takes 2mins to come up with one sensible line, pours her heart out to a ruddy ball, and talks to empty classrooms.and wasnt she supposed to be a sensible and intelligent character?why isnt she taking part in the grand plans to corner ranvijay?i thought for samrats sake she would enthusiastically participate?she does little except crying buckets of glycerine these days

yes i completely agree on this point....gunjan is now talking to CDs as well.... just to add to her lonely image they have added Cds to the music room.....she is simply making awkward faces whenever Rv is doing something anti-samrat or stopping him from fighting.... crying over her feelings and trying to hide them....why is she so bothered about samrat knowing them?? isn't he her best friend?? can't best friends be a little more open and esay with one another?? shy and introvert girls need not be always this tongue tied....

Ur post actually sounds a bit anti-Gunjan...

But I get the point, they need give Gunji a better character, she literally has no life beyond Samrat atm, thinks of him day night, cries over him all the time....hell annoying!

And I don't enjoy recent Gunur scenes either, cz its almost alwaysNups consoling Gunji....cant they talk about something else like normal sisters do...=S

i was on a post decorating spree😆 im just about on a realization phase myself...iv realized the importance of huge smileys

@pink ->little weird, considering how much she loves him,she should take out her vendetta against a guy who is attempting to malign samrat...thats what normal people do at least.im not asking her to enter into a shouting match with ranvijay unlike nupur or take out her wrath by slapping him,but at least she could take part in the plans...but she seems totally oblivious to it.and suddenly! WHAM!she comes up with a negative thought that what if the plan fails?its not clear if she even knows what the plan is,she definitely didnt participate in making it,but the "gang" has been making it in the center of the campus,so she would have to be deaf to not hear it.
