I loved reading your post...well...i def like Gunur better than sayank..though i wish they;d show sayank in a better manner with more normal conversations and yesterday;s scene was really nice in that context...

But yes, Gunjan NOT realising that Nupur was developing feelings for Mayu...and that fact that she missed the play because she was too busy crying was just not acceptable...i mean seriously....SAMRAT noticed Nupur's changing behaviour but now Gunjan...?
I really wish the creatives had shown Gunjan's concern and attention towards Nupur more...because it looks like that Nupur's the one always consoling, always wiping Gunjan's tears....its hard to believe that Gunjan knows nothing that much about her sister's life.....
anyway, great post..!!!

Just loved your post Neha. I agree with each and every word you said.
The SaYank scenes yesterday were really good. They were pretty normal, for a change. There wasn't a whole bunch of cheesiness, or the physics, chemistry, biology explaination. Mayank seemed to be giving indirect hints to Samrat, which is exactly how i like it. Samrat should be able to interpret those on his own, not by taking anyone else's help. Just like how Samrat hinted Mayank on his feelings for Nupur, but ultimately it was Mayank who made the real decision. So it should be the same way for Samrat too.

Coming to GunUr, i've always been an ardent fan of them. But these days, they're completely boring me out. I like the Samrat Nupur interaction better. It surely is strange that Gunjan never realized Nupur's feelings for Mayank after the terrace scene, the play rehearsals, and the reason given that she lost her first love is so not justified! She missed her sister's best day, only to cry over Samrat? I'm honestly not happy with the way they've been treating Gunjan's character. She was unique because she was shy and naive, but at the same time, she was intelligent and smart too! What has precisely happened to THAT Gunjan? Now all we see her do is CRY!

Honestly, fine, one sided love can really hurt. It has happened to me as well! I initially used to cry over him, but well, i don't share a similar bond with my sister, so i'd take my best friend in this case. Even though i was going through a lot, I understood her problems, supported her, helped her, without bringing my "huge problems" in between them. That's exactly what Gunjan should be like with Nupur. They have really not used her character to the full potential. If she is so worried that she'll lose her best friend because of her love, then he surely isn't her bestfriend! If he is, he should understand her feelings, accept them, let there be no awkwardness, and still continue to remain best friends. My friend who i fell in love with, broke his friendship with me, so i realized that he wasn't worth it anyway!

Seriously, Gunjan should come up with a plan against RV too, and not only cry! It is sad to see how the creatives have killed her character, when they could have done A LOT to develop her character!

p.s- sorry for such a long reply, just couldn't stop myself.l could go on and on, but i better stop.

Yeah perfect i agree but der was no scop when Ghunjan can think abt her di n her love,Every time when Mayur were together Ghunjan was wid samrat ..
Thats my view..If creatives wont give her charecters things to doing i dont know how can she do..Infact Samrat n Ghunjan both has nothing to do in d show😆😆

Well Neha, Excellent post as usual! I agree with everything that u've written except the bit on Samrat helping Mayank's realization....I guess, what u meant was S helping M in accepting his feelings for Nupur, when he was in a denial stage,....'cos M fell in love & realized his feelings for N, during the AC meet completely on his own....
The rest of it...Perfect Analysis! Specially the last bit....the only occasion I've seen Gunjan showing some care towards Nupur was after the Drug Track, when N was upset & G makes Gajar ka Halwa to cheer her up, but even then, the bigger share of the care & Halwa went to Samrat, the following day😆
Senny...I so agree with u that Nupur's realization was not as random as some people claim...'cos she always liked M & had an attraction towards him, right from the beginning.....she was the one who did not want their friendship to break during TP, over the project issue, 'cos she actually said it aloud that "it was very important for her", the words that she spoke praising Mayank wheh she was drunk in the barn 'bout how sweet he was as a person, all go to show that there had been dormant feelings within her towards M, which got a trigger during the terrace scene & consequently, the realization that it could be love...but she always felt that she was not good enough for him....so the insecurity & confusion....Anyways, that's not what this topic is all 'bout...but since I see some views at her "random realization" to justify Gunjan's insensitivity towards her sister's feelings, I felt compelled to express my thoughts on the matter....Not blaming the character but the creatives, for Keeping G completely oblivious to N's feelings....always....
Sonali: Gunjan's words 'bout the good fortune of people, whose feelings are reciprocated was not a "deliberate effort" on her part to help N to say those three golden words, she was just expressing her thoughts "generally", on the subject.
Creatives are responsible for ruining these characters, which had started off beautifully, in their process of dramatizing everything to enhance (?), the saleability factor of the show...so shy & naive Gunjan has to become a "holier than thou tragedy queen", Chirpy & Bubbly Nupur has to transform into a " loud & irritating shrew", Mischievous & flirtatious Samrat turns into a " dim & obtuse guy with a major inferiority complex for no rhyme or reason) & Mayank, the intelligent, sarcy but charming guy takes a rebirth in the form of "Mappu" (This one was easy...didn't have to write too many adjectives...thanx Kavya!)
Went totally off topic, I guess.....Gunur versus Sayank convo....Generally, Gunur seem genuine, their chemistry is natural & endearing, they talk sense!
Sayank ,on the other hand come across as forced, "we're the cool dudes" kind of convos totally ridiculous & cringeworthy....& their talks, incomprehensible, most times, I do not understand what they're trying to say.....yesterday's was better...they sounded a li'l more "human" than they have done in a long time....their best talk, which I liked till date was the day after Holi, when Samrat, for the first time quizzes M 'bout Nupur! That was superb!

@ neha....
i personally agree with each and every word u said...........especially the GunUr part..........

i feel really sad that the character of gunjan has been so mercilessly butchered by the creatives....................looks like her lowwwe for sammy has made her totally made . LITERAALY made her blind to every other thing in d world!!!!!!

she is sooo obsessed with samrat that she even forgets to worry if her sister does not come home late at nights........she eats, drinks and goes to sleep.....and if she awakens it is only to speak to a ball and say thimgs like " main din-rat sirf uski baare mein sochti hoon"

honestly creatives, give gunjan a life.......she seriously needs to get a life man..............please creative stop making gunjan so self-obsessed.

@red- ditto. but a better phrase would be- please stop making gunjan so samrat-obsessed, since all she does is think about him.

Agree Neha...Nice post as always!

I used to like SAYANK's convo! Their dialogues their style, their behaviour with each other..everything was perfect! Their relation was different, they were neither friends nor enemies! I miss them badly!
Nowdays I hardly get what they are talking about. I have nothing to do with samrat as am not his big fan and i also can tolerate his foolish dialogues but somehow I can't see Mayank behaving like a dumb person or speaking rubbish words!

BUT
i liked y'day's convo! I haven't yet accepted them as friends{coz i don't want them to be friends} still it was very matured convo! And i also could see old mayank talking with some one with senciarity! This is exactly how Mayank used to put his thoughts with other people!

Samrat's help when it was time for Mayu's realization was Normal..I didn't enjoy it still it was good...Just one time i hated it when mayank told samrat how he would keep distance from Nupur just b4 the tarrace scene!
During sammy's realization...........Ummmmmm...I am enjoying mayank's role! Mayank is being shown as a sensible person! {I wish they he could maitain his sinciarity with Nupur too}

About nupur's realization....I think I should NOT remember it!
I am very much upset with creatives...Creative did unfair with Nupur...they didin't even think twice before giving her scene! THERE WAS NOT ANY PLAN BEHIND NUPUR"S REALIZATION! they were busy in samrat-sheena-gunjan triangle...I seriously don't understand who is more impo for creatives?? Nupur or sheena??
Okay, so point is...there was NO plan behind nupur's realization...so they didn't focus on gunjan's role in nupur's life! However gunjan is always busy with his PHRIEND!
This is called sisters' bond...good! ...very impressive creatives!!
