Why isnt there any promotions for Kurbaan?

I'm just curious, that Kurbaan is coming out this year in November, and there is literally NOTHING out on the movie.

All we have are on the set pics that other ppl snapped (Times of India, extras on the sets), but there has not even been one official picture.

This is so unusual for Dharma Productions.

Wake Up Sid released a first look long before the official promotions kicked off. And MNIK's first look is already out when its coming out next year.

But there's no official look or anything as such on Kurbaan. Not even a poster.

Had it not been for the on the set pics, no one would even know that there is a project called Kurbaan to begin with, because everyoen has been asked to keep hushed up about it. The main cast mentions it, but that's about it. They just say, Kurbaan is a very special film, but nothign else about it comes out unless its a slip up or info spread around by extras, lol

What if Karan relegates Kurbaan to the backseat in the middle of WUS and MNIK?

Kurbaan has been in the news lately with the reports doing the rounds that there will be very intimate scenes in the film between Kareena and Saif.

Isn't that more than enough.

That news was out MONTHS ago.

I remember filmfare twitter put that up mid year.

Ever since then, the media's just blowing it outta proportion. They keep harping on and on about it because that's the ONLY thing out about Kurbaan.

I doubt that it will release on November.

I do hope the promos go on air soon though only because of Vivek.

I've confirmed with Rensil, its indeed coming out on November.

But Rensil feels that if it were up to him, he woudnt start promoting until just two weeks or so before release...CRAZY.

Thank god Karan's in charage of promotions. But even he's not doing the usual promotions Dharma uses.

They might be releasing it in November since this is a film about terrorism and 26/11 happened in November.

If this is the reason why it is going to be out on November, I think it is pathetic and insensitive.

I haven't seen anything on Karan's twitter about Kurbaan either. Is it coming out towards the end of november? They might me devoting all their energy to WUS right now, and the Kurbaan promotion will probably only start once WUS is out.

They have two months and that is more than enough to promote the film.

I'm sure the promotion for Kurbaan will be out full swing next month.

It's Vivek's film and they HAVE to promote it or else..........

It was always geared towards a November release, when Karan had FIRST given out the dates. Kurbaan hda been in the making before that incident happened.

And its not about a certain incident. Rensil's script is about the psyche of a terrorist, and their journey, why they do what they do, what hteir thought process is. Rensil said he wants to present a balanced a view as possible, because the world is not balanced at the moment.

Yeah it is coming out towards the end of November.

And ur right. Karan never tweets about kurbaan. So many members on kareena's forum have tried to ask him about it or leave comments, but he just overlooks them.

Its his own production! 😆
