It's good then if the release date is not based on an unfortunate incident.

Kurbaan is going to be a great film, i'm sure but I do hope they make it seem very realistic because a film based on terrorism having too many songs can ruin the entire plot.

There isnt any lipsynching and dancing.
The soundtrack will be played in teh background and has a folkish/sufi like feel to it.

That is not necessarily true. Dil Se for instance. Even Black Friday had music by Indian Ocean(not lip synch though).

Who has done the music for this film Desigal?

Its still called "untitled" when the official group on fb is called kurbaan.

Yup Salim-Suleiman
The duo of brothers has already given their music for hit films like "Fashion", "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" and "Chak De! India" and they are coming up with "Teen Patti", "Pyaar Impossible", "Kurbaan" and "Kites".

Yeah I don't get what KJo's plan is with this film. And I don't really know why Rensil would be this secretive.

And if he thinks a film can still work with only two weeks promotion then I don't know what to say. Its sad but its the way it is.

Kickass promotion did go a long way in making Dev D a hit. I am glad AK went all out on this one.

Dude, biggest example of "nonpromoting" gone WRONG is TASHAN!
No matter how pathetic that movie was...no way could it NOT have even been a HIT? I mean KI was equally pathetic (if not worse) and had a much larger budget, but even that attained a hit status. With a starcast like anil, akki, saif, kareena (all at the peak, coming out of prevous hits), some of my classmates didnt even know WHAT tashan was.
But the stupid makers of tashan thought that they were creatiing curiosity by NOT speaking abou the film.
That's suicide!

Kambakht Ishq barely recovered its budget I think. At least that is what it said on a couple of sites. So it is an average at best.

Really nothing could have saved Tashan. It was a disaster from start to finish.

I think according to the last numbers, it finally managed to BARELY scrape a hit.
But that's beyond the point. It was a bad movie, period, lol
But Kurbaan is not. And its sad, because I truly feel that its a genuine product, and to top it all off, its releasing with Akki and Kat's Dan dana dan (a priyan comedy).
It'lll DIE
