Did I say you were biased against "gay culture" (whatever that might be)? Its great that you have gay friends. If you find the PC-Shanks pics vulgar as well then really there is no problem. I was just trying to point out in my post that Dostana offended me and one of the reasons was the caricature of certain gay characters.

IMO, that sort of 'comedy' appeals to those who think slurs are funny but know that they aren't politically correct. That said, those people are just one target demographic.

but the Shanks cover reaction was coz they were doing a film together at the time and possibly a couple. While with this cover..from what i know both are straight and didn't do a film together so it just seems kinda out of the blue them doing a close photoshoot like that :P

That maybe but even so the pose Shahid and Priyanka were in was just as, if not more, intimate than the one Kajol and Rekha are in. So, I really can't understand why people generally are commenting that this picture is so vulgar, and indecent, etc when they had little issues with the Shahid-Priyanka cover which was just as bold, if not more, as this one.

lol! I dont like PC-Shanks pic either. I had seen that topic wen the pics were posted and if I remember correctly I didnt like them then also and that was the reason I hadnt posted in that topic either despite loving Shahid and PC.

Be it man woman, man man or woman woman, if they take pictures like that they can make it go either ways...real nice or real gross. Here they all made it fall in the latter and thats all that I said. No prejudice and nothing against anything like such.

woah! this has generated so much heat! this is such an old cover...and when it came out i didn't find it that controversial...it looked intimate but not nasty or offensive! was this cover controversial when it came out??? anyone knows??
