Why do women always lose on our Indian reality shows? And I'm not talking about the dancing shows, I mean it took us four idols to finally get a girl in. Why is it so? More women watch these shows then why don't girls get the votes? How many times have you seen your favourite female singer eliminated for a lesser male singer? Every time this happens we cry out that it's unfair but then we let it happen again the next time too. It's not right, we must take a stand.

No one would have thought it possible for two women to make it to the final of a reality show that depends heavily on physical fitness, but here we have Anaida and Mona who have come so far in IJSMB, facing the most impossible tasks and what are we going to do? What are YOU going to do? I say we vote, vote for the girls, we all want a jungle queen, there are enough jungle kings and idols etc in our world. Let's put a girl there now, make an example, inspire all the little girls who are bullied by boys with taunts of 'girls can't play cricket' or 'girls are weaklings' or 'girls are cry babies'.

Vote for Anaida and Mona, vote for a girl, 'cos you are one too. And if you are a guy and your reading this then I think you want to see a change too, treat MA the way you would your own Maa, please vote.

Mona and Anaida are the most deserving in the show to win the title.

I sincerely hope, one of them wins the title and the prize money.

GREAT POST, RAINBOW!

I SO WISH I could vote multiple times for Anaida and Mona, but unfortunately we cant....its really unfair that we viewers abroad are not allowed to vote! 😡 We are paying the cable and satellite bills as well, they are getting money becuz of us, arent they? Then why not let us vote? 😡

I totally agree, girls never win in any of these Indian contest shows, whether its music, dance or endurance! Thats becuz India is a nation of misogynist men and women who are antagonistic towards their own gender!

Ive seen it all my life growing up in India, the way girls are treated and discriminated against, the way MILs treat their DILs....saas bahu shows speak the truth....women ARE their own worst enemies!

Mostly gals and women watch these shows and they vote for the cute (or supposedly cute) guys, based on looks, not based on talent! Guys also vote for cute guys since they are conditioned that way to have fellow feeling for other guys and be antagonistic towards women. 😡

No wonder they make shows called: Naa aana iss desh mein Laado..

Thanks pallavi. Indeed we should be allowed to vote, this system really sucks

And it's high time for us girls to stand up united and make a change, who cares if an actor is good looking? I thought favourites are picked on the basis of acting prowess?!! Even models are not judged on looks alone, how can anyone vote merely on the basis of looks? And what's so good looking about a large mouthed tree frog with bulging eyes? 😉

🤣 🤣 🤣 Loved ur description of the toad! 😆
But some gals find him cute! Even when he was Ansh Virani, a total villain and rapist in Kyunki he had a lot of female fans....Kekta gave him the devilish looks with long hair and blue eyes (why do villains always have light color eyes?) and many female viewers swooned for him...God knows why? 😕

😃

*-- Akash fans, please stop reading ---*
My POV,
Ansh NEVER looked cute! Like ewwww!! Fake long hair (like Mowgli) and blue eyes?? did he get exchanged at birth??! Acting, not looks, ACTING, not looks is the key to make any role convincing, including being a villain. Akash is far scarier in the jungle, in his own skin, than he ever was in any of his roles. May be Ekta wanted him to hide his abysmal expressions behind the long hair..? 😉
*-- End ---*

"why do villains always have light color eyes?" I think it's based on the superstition that people with light coloured eyes are not trust-worthy. This probably came up because of the colonisation of our country by a people who predominantly had light coloured eyes and were not trust worthy at that time. (I can't prove this though, it's just a guess! 😕 )

"many female viewers swooned for him..." Swooned...? oh come on, you can't be serious?! Surely not!! 😒

Ekta Mayi had discerning eyes, she saw the villain in him! 😆 Yes, his real nature is more horrid than any roles he has done...becuz hes hurting real ppl not fictional characters...

Yes, when I went to India for summer, they told me how half the gals were crazy for Karan, half for Ansh.... 😆

I agree abt the light colored eyes= evil colonialists theory. I also think the same.
