Dharma Productions ended 2008 on a high thanks to Dostana, and now Karan Johar's company is hoping that 2009 will be just as well thanks to Wake Up Sid! This one has Ranbir Kapoor playing the title character and protagonist Sidharth Mehra, who is basically a lazy and totally unmotivated slacker from Mumbai. His world is carefree and without any true responsibilities, but all that goes for a toss when he fails his final year college exams. Wake Up Sid also features Konkona Sen Sharma, whose character Aisha Bannerjee is essentially the yin to Sid's yang!
