Yes you are right. He truly is the poor child on the periphery. Even in so many shots cinematographically speaking the tiny lil one is on the sidelines caught between all the turmoil around him looking hapless, worried about the rising tension between his father and mother who both he loves dearly, worried about his new-found sister that he has started loving and caring for, hounded by the creepiest of crreps aka Mrs Gupta, spoken to harshly by this awful lady unable to even meet his friend and hatch a plan, unable to sleep, having to take so much responsibility such as taking the logical initiative of calling up his dad, and right now once again neglected this time by both parents who are griefstricken. My heart goes out to this chap who still keeps up his innocence and his optimism and who juggles between being a child and being an adult, comforting his mom, his dad, reassuring them whereas he is least reassured and is as devastated as them but still putting up a brave front and least demanding on his parents knowing fully well that they have serious worries on their mind. Love you sweet little abhi dearest poppet moppet!!
