Some stray thoughts ............
Throughout the episode today, my attention was consumed by that little child on the periphery...... Abhishek.
A little boy whose life has been turned upside down by the events that have taken place by the entry of his hitherto unknown sister. He is taken away from his father by his distraught mother. But he pines for him so the mother returns.
Now in the house there is a new little member. His father has someone new to think of. Although Abhi is not neglected as such, he is relegated because his sister requires more attention. He does assert himself initially but lately he has stopped doing that. He is growing up ....... but alas before his time.
He loves his parents truly and Antara in his own child like way. He never verbally abuses her and extends kindness to her whenever required. After the baba incident, it was he who asked her about the pain and asked his mom to kiss it away.
He is always the first to observe her and remark. Like Antara having only cornflakes. Like Antara's mother being in the stars. Like asking Antara to try the parathas which his mother is an expert at. Like happily enjoying the b'day cake in honour of Anu.
And his thoughtfulness is not altogether lost on Antara either. She rarely pulls away from him. After Adit, it is Abhi whom she trusted.
Today's episode was the most traumatic for the little boy. A boy who had gone out for an outing, comes home with a mother full of tears, fright and guilt. Look at the little boy, he's as afraid. He knows something is wrong because Antara's lost. He rings up his father and asks him to come home. How he is yearning for securtiy himself ! His small face was worried. The way he runs from one parent to the other was very touching. The heated arguments and tough words used must have shaken the poor mite. He stands by the door quietly. He attempts to prevent his mother from crying. When Vidya dissolves in tears, he goes to her and hugs her. She too holds him close to her. What was Abhi doing? Was he giving comfort to his worried mother or was he seeking comfort? He was giving her comfort because he tries to reassure her that Antara would return.
Little Abhi. Showing kindness to his father when he offers him his matki money on janmashtami day. Shouldering responsiblities has started getting inculcated in him. One day, he will go on to becoming the brother who will have to take care of both his siblings.
This is the true angel who God sent down ......................

u hav written this straight frm heart skep ........

i feel the same .......abhishek is maturing every passing day ....his childhood is getting lost sumwhere in this extra responsibility of antara! think of them as a family before antara enetred their lives and now ...........but the poor soul is not only understanding the circumstances but also reacting to it in the most positive way!!
sum kids get out of control in such situations but abhishek is not only prooving as a support to antara but to his whole family !!!

Amen. Well Written. You're right of all he has faced; and facing now he is showing more power and strength in supporting all around him. Very commendable at that young age. Abhishek is a God Send Child. A True Angel. Many children that age would concern about other things not Abhi. Well Done Creators on your job with Abhi. Loving this child more and more everyday.

Agree. The little wonder is a Strong Pillar of strength for his family!!! I loved that part when she was hurt and he asked his mother to take care of the cut. And today was exceptional superb the way he consoled his mom. Wonderful scene.

You're right also since the start I've seen Abhishek as the "glue" holding the family together. He pestered his mother to wanting to be with his dad all the time. Then when Antara came he was jealous but he overcame that and supported her and his father more. Abhishek is the core of this family's strength

^ Everyone is probably in shock mode at the lost of Antara. Yes Skept as in your diaries this is marvelous. For a child so young he's grown up so fast. Creatives are doing a marvelous job with him.

Omg Abhi was fabulous today. The way he walked up to Vidya and she hugged him. Made me cry. He is maturing very fast for his age. Well many kids out there are like Abhi taking charge and making sure the family stays together. Many kids sorry to say have to grow up fast especially with all around them in turmoil. He could of continued to hate Antara and dislike her for life. But no he is seeing all what;s happening around him and remaining positive thruout it all. love this character and the mini actor behind it all. He is too CUTE!!!!!!!! Plz creators/Ph do what you can and save this little boy from leaving after the leap happens.

Excellent words Skept. Everything written I completely agree. His need for his father helped in reuniting Vidya and Adi. His need for a sister helped in Vidya becoming closer to Antara. Abhi is the driving force bringing everyone closer together he even helped somewhat with Billu liking Antara. And last but not least helping bring together his mom and dad. As for the last child (for now) he is shown as the strongest of them all. Brilliant work creatives of AKA.
