mutharasi is really annoying me. all she does is whine and beg non stop! i like naachiya's character best, she seems strong and good hearted.

But she is not aware of her husband having a hand in in this illegal act which had landed poor JC in the prison...!!😡😡😡

I just do not understand why Ayya had to take a 2nd wife when he has a jem of a wife in Natchiyar??? When there is money, status and prospects most men seem to have roving eyes...thus our Ayya is of no different..!!👎🏼.

Ayya is resting and Subbu comes with some drinks and looks at him. Ayya asks i she wondering what he is happy about. Ayya tells Subbu that they should not show their sorrow to their children. Two priests come to the house and look or Ayya. Charu brings them in and the priest tells Ayya about the mix up in the Jathagam. Priest tells Ayya that Collector's and Ganga's jathagams were the one that was compatible and not JC's. He apologizes and Ayya tells them not to make such mistake and dismisses them. Ater the men leave, Ayya asks Subbu's opinion about seeking alliance or Collector and Gangga. Subbu asks him to take Natchia with him. Ayya asks Gangga and she just smiles but her sisters tell Ayya they are very happy with the decision.

Ayya asks Natchia to come as theyhave to leave or Collector's house. Natchia comes out and Ayya appreciates her dressing and beauty. They then call Illa, Illa comes out and Ayya asks or her husband and Saravanan. Illa says her husband has gone to the mill so Ayya asks her to call Saravanan. Illa brings Saravanan and Ayya tells them they are going to Collector's house about the proposal. Illa objects saying they should not go because Collector's parents may object because Gangga's engagement was cancelled. She tells Ayya it would be an insult and she would not be able to bear it. Ayya sks Saravan's opinion but he too agrees with his SIL. Natchia tells them that they would not object because they like Ganga so much and wants to go. Illa finally tells them she and her BIL will go first and find out and then they can go. Natchia stops saying not necessary as she and Ayya will go. Illa then brings the topic o the mora mapillai but Natchia again shuts her saying it does not apply here because the engagement was cancelled and this is the second time they are getting a proposal for Ganga. Natchia and Ayya leave. Illavangi pretends to faint.

Ayya and Natchia revive Illa and asks what is wrong with her. Illa wakes up and says she is not feeling well and wants Natchia to stay with her. Illa tells Natchia not to leave her. Natchia tells Illa she is just ine and wants her to rest. She leaves Illa telling her to rest well and goes with her husband. Saravanan asks Illa if she is really ill. Illa says no and that she was only pretending to stop Natchia and Ayya going to Collector's house and this did not work. Illa wants to stop the engagement at any cost, so she calls her mother and tells her about Ayya and Natchia going to Collector's house with the proposal and wants her mother to go there immediately to stop the alliance. Illa's mother agrees to do that. THODARUM.
