And in above u said about mayu eating paneer. It was not a sacrifice i guess, it was a part of jealousy since chiruji nd nups were eating paneer. And coming 2 d topic..opp atract nd can live 2gether. I can see it in real life...ex-my sweet mom nd dad. They r polar opp in nature. Dad is xactly like my mayu. Very calm..my mom is like..energetic, bubbly nd hyper sensitive and also angry. When i watch d show i always used 2 tease them with MN. Nd u know what...our family is the happiest family in d world. Even in our difficult situations..they always give us strength and happiness. Their love is so much deep. So i completely believe dat 'opposites attract and can live together happy 4ever'. This is from my experience. No offence pls.

@mads (hello im madzz😆) See any relationship needs a few things to survive trust, maturity, understanding and most importantly love. But slight jealousies misunderstanding and immaturities get the romance out or lets say get a chance of display of affection, and make the bond even more strong. Mayank brings maturity and nupur gets in immaturity. And they both love each other😃. Basically there are like sugar and spice, they really bring chatpatta fun out (without hurting ur tounge due to spice😛). And they conect on various basic levels. Eg-
both are sanskari and belive in true love😆
gr8 love for their parents and loved ones
both try to help others in their own way😊
the basic set of ideologies are same. Hence aisa nahi hai ki they are poles apart means ki one is honest and other is dishonest. Moreover things like paneer and filmyness fades with time.
U kno even a theif and a cop can fall in love this way😆 ( i hope ur getting it right😕) I mean ki a theif and a cop can fall in love if they hv the basic similar ideologies😛.
Regarding sam and gunjan id say they r pretty similar, i mean super understanding, perfect frnds, also both hv problem with emotions. One cant express and other cant understand😆. Again even their basic ideologies are same😃.

If we talk in context of this show....you're bang on about both MN and SG.

MN were different....and I'd expected the nok-jhonk to continue after they fell in love....but not in the petty, tacky manner shown in this show :S

Little things....like Nupur gushing about some random movie or SRK and Mayank gazing at her in bemusement as she rambles on....the difference before/after being that before it would be JUST bemusement but after would be affectionate/fond bemusement. Nupur maybe dragging M to a party and forcing him to start doing some nautanki dancing moves like her and he resists for a bit but gives in when she pleads in her true blue nautanki style.

Mayank forcing Nupur to study for exams even as she throws a million and one tantrums....him teasing her with filmy references in subtle sarcasm and her being irrevently happy in her blissfull cluelessness...lol

MN getting the chance to talk....him about losing his father and her about losing her mother....both of them talking about his Mom....a conversation where a lot doesn't need to be said yet they understand each other's silences and Nupur ultimately breaks the moment with a light hearted filmy quip.

I think the reason that opposites are able to stay together in the long run is cuz of a basis of love and respect.....or one single point that they can bond over....in MN's case, that could have been their parents....since they are both fiercely loyal when it comes to their families and are willing to do anything for them.

Ahh sorry for the long ramble....LOL....I guess I got carried away *sigh*
