opposites attract, but can never stay together(?)

ok guys..this is one question that has been bothering me for AGES .. lets see if u hav an answer ...

we all know the age-old phrase - "opposites attract" ... but after they do, can they really stay together ?? I mean..they are sooo different from each other... nature-wise n even otherwise...that it takes a while for them to understand and accept each other as they are... and many times their thought processes are also completely different from each other ...

since MJHT is based on this theme..I'd like u all to give me an answer to this..

take for example MN .. nupur is everything mayank is NOT .. and mayank thinks abt stuff that nupur will prob never even dream of! and v already saw them having their share of small fights even after falling in love wit each other ( no comments abt the creatives' premises of these fights...🤢🤢🤢 ) but my belief is that they wud hav continued bickering even in case of the sanest of premises built up by the creatives...and that way prob, understand each other better ...😳

and SG .. are another example of "opposites attract"...but the difference here is that..even tho they are soo different from each other, there is some mental level at which they connect soo absolutely..their thoughts and their wavelengths match superbly..hence inspite of being opposites they share the same thoughts at some levels...however their nature is immensely different..n only if they understand each other completely can they accept each other as they are ...😳

so technically, this show has variety, ONLY if the creatives use their full potential ..

neway coming back to my original question... opposites do attract, it is but natural.. jus like a north pole attracts a south pole in a magnet .. but CAN they stay together ?? can their relationship be long lasting ???

The condition is "sacrifice for love"... Its simple yaar.. Two person , no matter same nature or opp nature, their relationship can last only if they are ready for few sacrifices...

First both must understand each other n must know their likes n dislikes.. Ex: Mayank hates Paneer, but nupur loves it... Once Nupur must sacrifice her wish n prepare what mayank loves... May be other day mayank can surprise her by getting / making panner for Nupur...

he can even try it for her...

So such small cute cute surprises brings ppl close n makes their relationship strong...

@ bold : yeah thats true .. it all depends on individual persons... but I think if u are totally opposite, its all the more difficult for u to adjust .. I mean, its very easy to say that sacrifice things n all that..but when it comes to developing ur relationship I feel it is really very difficult ... u need to sacrifice a LOT ...

sometimes maybe even ur habits or principles... and that is the toughest part ...😊

I agree yaar.. I know its hard... But t gives you a LOT MORE happiness... Am sure many ll be ready to do anything to see their loved ones 's happy...

hey mads, i made a similar topic with the title if-Mayank-Gunjan and Samrat-Nupur were a pair.... it was based on the conecpt that opposites atrract but why not base a serial on the premises of 'birds of same feather flock together'....

as for people of extremely different characters, i think the pair has a lot of difficulty adjusting to each other unless one looks up to the other or change....

but if they have superficioul differences like one likes books and the other movies(eg MN) i would not be that difficult to adjust cos their basic principles are same like they both respect their family, both are really good people and are very dedicated friends etc.....

as for SG, i also find one huge similarity in them, both of them are insecure about thier real feelings though they love each other very much....

But had their basic thoughts, ideals, beliefs been altogether different.... the passion of knowing some1 ur oppsite would be there but the relation would not mature if atlest one or both don't change....

yeah.. the best thing abt SG is that tho hey are MILES apart in nature..their thoughts, beliefs, and the way they care abt each other is jus the same.. but are ready to sacrifice their feelings to keep their friendship strong..n that I think is the BIGGEST advantage of them being together ... plus, they've known each other for soo long as friends that they kno each other and their likes n dislikes n habits too well too...

and abt MN..yeah, the creatives could have doine MUCH MUCH MUCH better wit them .. like I said, this show promises variety ONLY if the creatives use it.. MN and SG are two completely different examples of the same concept "opposites attract" ... creatives shud have dun a better job wit MN ...

Yes... Sometimes am not able to digest the way in which MN are together now... Everything happened so fast... confusion, confession, drama date...

yeah... the story line of SG is really cute u know.. how much they really care for each other but would not tell it in case that offends/ hurts the other... u know i had written this poem on Samrat's feelings.. my first poem on I-F actually....i'll repost it here so that u can read my thots...
