the man in jail doesn't look content to me, he's resigned to his fate...but yea, he's going to regret his actions big time, and that'll make him kill, he's kinda like Sujal, landing in jail for ladylove and then accepting his fate without protest cos he wants her khushi...

2. Arjun is using reverse psychology big time including the "cheap" motel to show Arohi she is wrong without telling her so. To make her realize what she is doing does not jell with her character. That she is thinking like a emotional girl dubooing in love not the strong woman with brains & confidence that he loves.
