I thought it was important to post this in this forum.
Under India-Forums Terms of Use 1g it states,
Use of and membership in the India-forums Website is void where prohibited. By using the India-forums Website, you represent and warrant that (a) you are 16 years of age or above (b) your use of the India-forums Website do not violate any applicable law or regulation. Your profile may be deleted and your membership may be terminated without warning, if we believe that you are less than 16 years of age.
So from what I understand, members need to be 16years of age or abofve. So members must use language appropriate for people of 16years of age or above.
And a 16 year old is not awfully young, in fact in most nations when people of 16 or above engage in sexual activity, it can no longer be considered rape. So it should be ensured by moderators that the rules are for people who are 16 or above.

That's the rules but everyone knows that there are members younger then 16. And plus I-F has always been a PG-13 forum regardless of that

@Ravjot: then the forum is actively violating its own rules? Or encouraing people to do so? Is that what you are saying? Because if you want to enforce rules then enforce them all - not pick and choose. Otherwise IF is engaging in what most people would define as setting double standards. 😒
In law the practice is called - breach of procedural fairness.
Btw KMH is also rated PG-13 - the language you r telling us is bad is used on a PG-13 Show.. errrm or am i missing something?😕

No that's not what I'm saying. Rules change over time. I-F was always intended to be a PG-13 forum. And the age thing has changed. That rule has to be updated.

So, the "rule" that you don't agree with has to now be updated? But, the rule others don't agree with should be enforced. Yup. That is totally fair.
Also, is KMH rated PG- 13 or not? Please answer that for me?

@Ravjot: So if the IF has rules for ppl to be above 16yrs , but u urself claim there can be kids under 16 reading IF that means they are BREAKING the rules. Instead of keeping track of that, you are asking all the other writers to use lang appropriate for KIDS?? How do u want to pass on such rules for all of us , when others(kids under 16) breaking rules. I still standby using "Kameena" to describe KS should be perfectly fine. If "Kameena" word was used to any other character other than KS then thats an offense. Using that word on KS should be perfectly fine. We all here at KMH forum are educated lot, we write things which we dont mind anyone reading. We all read everyone's posts and we dont find it offensive, it goes in the flow of the show.

Taking a particular word and looking at it may make it look offensive, but if the same word is put in the flow of a show, a character and with our attachment to the characters, it will make perfect sense.

I dont understand why any one will be offended by "Kameena" word. If Indian govt allows such words to be AIRED on a show , which is not sensored to any age kids , then why IF should be any different?.

^Anu, well that we have to ask the Indian Government as to why they allowed such words to be used on national TV, but if we can prevent the usuage of such words here, then what is wrong in that?
