Regarding today's last Update

Hi All

I am feeling very bad in writing this post. Actually, i had planned to go out today for a Concert, long time back, had booked tickets for it. I never knew that this Friday would be the Last Episode of the Serial which , i am now Updating for ages(Can I say this?)

Due to this programme of mine, I will not be able to see the Last Episode which is aired at 9.00PM IST. I checked the Zee TV Schedule, according to that, i do not think there is a re-run at midnight tonight. So the chances of me seeing the re run has also vanished into thin air.

Now, I have asked a person to come with a Recorder, to record the the serial for me . I do not know whether this would happen before I leave home. So all said and done, I am still not aware whether I will be able to update today or not...

I have had a talk with RikNik also. But, to tell you frankly, I have been so very attached to this Section from my very Day 1 in IF, that I will feel really bad if I miss out on the Very Last Episode, after writing for so long. You can call it my Selfishness, my Addiction to this Section, my closeness with my Members or anything.. But to me, this means a lot. It has been more than a year since I took up this job. I have made so many friends here, have learnt a lot from this section and each and every member. So, I do feel sad that I will not be doing the Last Update for today...

I talked to RikNik, she is of the impression that I need to finish it off. I too want it to happen. But, there are many Ifs and Buts to it...

I only wish that the person comes and is able to set the recorder to my TV on time. In that case, I will come back, see it, do the Update. If this does not happen, I will surely check out whether the re run comes at midnight. If that materialises, then it is fine... In both these cases, you will get the Update before 1.30 midnight IST.

If I am not able to Update, then I have no other go, than to ask RikNik to do the honours.

So, in any case, the Update today will be definitely delayed. It will be up either by late night, or by tomorrow morning.

I hope and pray the update is by me... (RikNik, please do not take this to heart. I know you understand what it means to me).

Sorry for this long post... Sorry if I am being awkward here....

We all know that Vidya has been doing a splendid job at IF esp. in the Astitva section. The dedication and sincerity with which she has "attacked" the section is truly commendable. She has truly enjoyed writing the updates for Astitva and I personally think that she and only she should write the final update too. She was also responsible for getting the star protagonist of the show, Nikki Aneja Walia, on IF's Live Star Interview!! The interview which I felt was totally incomplete. Nikki had so much to share with her fans that most questions were left unasked!
So Vidya, don't worry about the recorder being set up in time. You enjoy your concert. I think the re-run of friday night's episode will be aired at 12.30 am and 12.30 pm on Monday. You should definitely do the honors -- no matter how delayed it may be!! We the members will look forward to your final update!! After which we shall embark on the "post-mortem" of the show -- including its characters, actors, storyline ....... whatever.
