Which Movies Do you want nowadays? - Page 2

I love romantic comedies and some serious politiic or Patriotic movies. I like watchin films that the whole family can enjoy.

Unfortunetly, some people did like Neal and Nikki, do thise kind of movies won't stop. But Bollywood comes out with so many movies that I always find many films I like.😊

in US every film has correct rating so people watch only the films appropriate to their age. unfortunately in India there are only three ratings. U, U/A and A. and only most graphic and violent movies are rated A like gangajal and mathrubhoomi. films like neal n nikki and salaam namaste are U/A rated. even after these ratings no one stops kids from watching movies like gangajal in theatres or video. such movies even come on TV.

how many parents seriously look for these ratings? should they have allowed 13 yr olds or younger ones to watch neal n nikki or any such films after U/A rating?

i also think our censor board should be more strict about these ratings.

One is that censor board need to do more categorising more than censoring . Secondly its parents who need to look out for these ratings and stop kids !!

As for the movies i like - i like light hearted stuff mostly , good comedies,mysteries ,thrillers and family type of films .

I am allergic to sad stories , romantic stories and patriotic stories and hate violence from the bottom of my heart .
I guess i liked Salaam Namaste and Rakth recently.

Well,I agree we shouldn't have vulgar films.But I don't think have just comedies or just thrillers.it would become monotonous.There should be variety like comedy,Realistic,thrillers, etc.Because today the whole family needs to watch the movies like Gangajal,Apaharan to come to know the reality.

I like all kind of movie except Horror and Sci-Fi movies... my best are chick flick and real life based movies.... and documentaries. Oh..and I really hate Govinda comedy it is annoying. 😡

About families with movies I definetly don't want to watch any movie with my pre-schooler at this point. I don't mind watching any kind of movie with my parents or in-laws at this stage. However, there is so much violence, bad language, skin show in Hindi movies lately. I would like to watch movies like Hanuman, Cinderella, Beauty and Beast, Nemo or any sensible animated movies with kids. Usually, I have seen parents encourage kids to watch movies as they themselves are into it...me and my husband try not to watch much tv when our daughter is around and if she is we watch probably geography channel or kids sensible shows. I remember my daughter doing some fighting action once and I asked her where she saw this and she said "momy's tv".. she probably cought me watching some action movie.

I agree with Aparna, parents should watch out for what their kids are watching and stop them.

I have seen many of you mention Gangajal . On one of his recent trips my Hubby bought it . The name sounded like some violent bakwas movie, so till date i haven't watched it . Can any one tell me how this Movie ??

well me too...i love thriller based movies or action adventure like dhoom...or sometimes unconvention stuff like black..i dont like the hindi comedies coz i think that most of the time the jokes go flat
