hey monkeylovvver92, i forgot to thank you before for the translation, as i could sing the punjabi song, but never actually understood the real meaning of it...

wat ekzaktly 'YON' mean? from the sentence "tere meri yon tut gayi sonia"

yon means like. teri meri yon tut gayi soniye jivein tutya ambar to taara (you and me broke like a star breaking from the sky)

No, both the tune and lyrics are based on a Punjabi folk song by Pappy Dhillon and Babu Mann.

yon means 'like' in punjabi

if you translate it word from word it will be:

tere meri yon tut gayi soniye

yours mines like broke (you just add gayi for past tense) lover

eww...its sounds wierd with the word to word translation lol 😆
