Hello all,
I am a huge fan of KDMHMD, a BT show, currently being aired at 8.30 pm on Star Plus. Recently we heard the shocking news that Star Plus is moving our show from the prime time slot to the afternoon, at 2.30 pm. Despite all our efforts to contact Star Plus, via phone and emails, we fans are not even being treated politely, let alone getting some answers.
Our show has been given third class treatment ever since the feud started between Balaji Telefilms and Star Plus. There has not been a single new promo aired for more 3 months and no new promotions for months before that. Despite that fact, KDMHMD remains the #3 most watched show on Star Plus. The viewers of this show are young students and working adults, so the afternoon slot would not suit us at all. There are other shows that garner much less TRP than Kis Desh and yet, these remain on prime time. It has let us to believe that this is a deliberate attempt by the channel to sabotage our show, inspite of all the protest that has poured out from us fans, only because it is an Ekta Kapoor show. We feel very passionately towards our show and its wonderful cast. They deserve much better. I think it is time that the viewers take a stand and tell the channel that it is because of us, they exist.
I understand that everyone's time is valuable. Therefore I have only two requests to make -
(a) Kindly visit this TB article and leave a comment about Star Plus' unfair treatment and bias towards all BT shows. As you can see, there is not a single fan that is for this shift and yet SP is turning a deaf ear to our protests.
(b) Boycott all shows by Star Plus and help increase TRPs for other channels.
