Hey everyone,
I am sorry I wasn't able to update this Wednesday. I had gone to my college orientation which went well but I changed my mind abt going to college there since it was 2 hours away from home. I am going to start college in a community/junior college. So yea, I am happy with my decision. And again I would like to thank tulipbaby53 for writing my update for me.
Today's Mann Ki Baat was an awesome awesome episode. I loved it and it showed who the true Rakhi was. Instead of talking about the sad stuff she talked abt the happy part in her life and how she got into bollywood.
HOW RAKHI STARTED HER CAREER
Most of us don't know but Rakhi Sawant made her debut on Doordarshan as a child actor. There was an audition for the show going on near her town and she went, she said she had on a dress which was made from a saree(she said since they were poor, her mom used her sarees to make her daughters(Usha and Rakhi) matching dresses) LOL! I found that kind of cute. She got selected and started acting in the show. After that show she felt like she belonged in the acting world, so she kept looking for roles and dreamt about being a huge star.
Then she came to Mumbai and started staying in apartments, Shakeel Noorani(a famous bollywood director) also stayed in the same apartments and he asked Rakhi to dance in his movie Jhoru Ka Ghulam with Govinda and as soon as Rakhi heard Govinda she said she would love to dance in the movie. She didn't know what an item song was, what kind of a dance it would be or what but she just accepted his offer. The day of the shoot Rakhi thought it would take a lot of energy to perform(she didn't know that it took days to shoot a song, she thought it was all one take) and she said she ate a lot to make sure she had the energy to perform. That was so funny. Ganesh Acharya was the choreographer of the song and when they said cut(to rest or whatever) Rakhi thought she was making mistakes and asked him what was wrong and he told her nothing was wrong.
She also said that her mother told her to touch everyones' feet so Rakhi used to touch the directors' feet, her makeupman's feet,etc. She used to tell her makeup man to do her makeup right and touch his/her feet. I found that funny too. She is so down-to-earth.
After that she started getting stage shows and receiving 5000 Rs to 10000 Rs per show. She thought she was the best. She said it was a tragedy(lol, I don't know why. She is so innocent) Later she auditioned for Main Hoon na, when she went to meet Farah Khan she wore a burqa(instead of a mini skirt) since she didn't want her neighbors to think she was a bad person or have bad thoughts abt her.
Later she got a song in Chura Liya hai tumne(mohabbat hai mirchi). She said she didn't even know how to act at that time. She didn't know anything and now she could do any kind of acting or dancing. After that Bhushan Kumar the owner of t-series asked her if she could do a remix video on the famous song pardesiya and she immediately agreed to doing it. Later she got roles in Malamaal weekly and was asked to participate in reality shows like Big Boss and Nach Baliye. Then Karan Johar invited her on Koffee with Karan and she told him that she couldn't speak english so she couldn't come on the show and Karan said he would try to speak hindi for her. Gauri and SRK and everyone was so excited she was going to be on Koffee with Karan. She said the shows TRPs doubled SRK's episodes TRPs. That is amazing and shows just how many people love Rakhi Sawant. She said she was John's favorite, Bipasha's favorite, Salman's favorite. She is so sweet. Aww. She said after Koffee with Karan and Big Boss and other shows people started respecting her and she felt blessed.
One day Rakesh Roshan called her(she said she couldn't believe it was Rakesh when he called her, she asked him if he was joking) and asked her if she could do an item song in Krazzy 4, she said she flew straight to Mumbai and to his office and said yes. She had never been so excited in her life. Now she will be starring in Dil Bole Hadippa a Yash Raj film which she is also very excited about. I wish her the best of luck for her upcoming movie and the future.
RAKHI'S FUTURE PLANS
Rakhi said in her later life she wants to be a businesswoman and live with dignity. I think she is quite dignified already. She also said she would want to be a true and good politician and help people out. She said she wanted to be like Indira and Sonia Gandhi. Wow, hopefully that happens.
Thoughts on RKS
Okay so I don't know why Luv got eliminated but I do think she made the wrong decision. Seriously, Manmohan is such an actor. I hate him, he doesn't love her. His mother is mean and they have way too many rules in their house. Her mother also said Rakhi couldn't work after she married Manmohan. Luv seemed genuine to me today. Idk why, but he is way better than Manmohan. Then again, I think Rakhi kept Manmohan just so she could go to his house and talk to Anjali and show us(the world) how fake he is and how he was using Rakhi so no one would trust him. Hopefully that happens. Manas and Elesh told Rakhi they would leave if Luv was safe this week and Chittiz claimed that it was their game plan, I didn't like that at all. Whatever.
My favorite: Elesh Parujanwala and Chittiz. No one else. Manas and Manmohan are cheaters. UGH!
