We are completely opposite in real life: Prabhleen
TV stars, naturally, don't have the same real-life relationship as they do on screen. In fact, in the case of Aapki Antara's Antara (Zaynah Vastani) and her step-mother Vidya (Prabhleen Sandhu), it is completely opposite, as they share a wonderful friendship off screen.
Prabhleen tells us, "Zaynah and I share a completely different relationship off-screen. Unlike on the show, we are very close. We do a lot of masti together." The older actress's affection is obvious. "Zaynah is a sweetheart and very cute. She calls me 'Vidya didi' or sometimes even 'mumma'. Whenever there is a break in the shoot, she just comes over and sits on my lap and chats non-stop. Anybody would love to spend time with her. Sometimes, when she is in a really good mood, she hugs me very tightly and says 'meleko kissie karna hai'' "
There always seems to be masti on the sets of Aapki Antara, because there are so many kids around. "Raj, who plays my son Abhishek, is another entertainer. He is very sharp and smart, but stubborn too. If he wants something he wants it, and nobody can divert his attention from it. Basically, we all have loads of fun while shooting.
In Aapki Antara, Prabhleen's character Vidya is a stern step-mother to Antara (Zaynah), who is her husband Aditya's biological child, which is why she doesn't like her. She has a son, Abhishek, and is currently pregnant with her second child.
