July 14^th 2009 Written Update

Sav stops Menka from committing suicide and tells her that nothing will happen to Yuvraj since she has already taken back the case against him. Everyone is shocked to hear this, especially Saras. Sav tells them that she took back the case on the day she got Yuv out on bail. Saras and the rest reprimand her for this, and all leave disappointed. Menka thanks Sav for what she's done for Yuv.

Bhavna is sitting dejected in her room when Jhanvi comes in and tries to cheer her up with kheer and new bangles. Upon touching her, Jhanvi realizes that Bhavna has a terrible fever and calls Suman. Later, Suman tells Jhanvi that she knows what has upset her Bhavna, but she knows nothing can be done about it. Jhanvi tells her that she will make sure Bhavna will get what she wants. She drags Suman off somewhere.

At the Garodia house, Sav tries explaining to Saras why she did what she did. She tells Saras to look at the situation from her perspective, and leaves.

Jhanvi brings Suman in front of God's idol and tells her to swear that she doesn't care about Bhavna's happiness. Suman says that she is this house's bahu before she is Bhavna's mother. Jhanvi explaisn to her how there is nothing wrong in dance, and how she should allow Bhavna to participate in the show. Suman finally agrees.
