I got this idea while seeing the movie Tashan, and seeing Kareena's size 0. I know that the movie released ages ago, and since then she has lost the size 0...but I wanted to ask you something. What do you classify as fat?

Having curves?
Having a bit of stomach?
size 12?
size 14?
Not fitting into size 8 or below?
Why is that nowdays I see so many girls trying to diet and obtain a perfect body...
Do you think that in India, girls are now trying too hard to get thin, and the people who aren't are looked down upon?

girls who dont have much else to look forward to usually are the ones who R most obsessed about their looks. Its got basically to do with low self esteem & winning approval -IMO

but don't you think there are like...expecations..or almost like the belief that till the time you are not a certain size, and your bons are showing, or whatever, you cannot be "pretty"
I remember a cousin of mine saying that Tanushree Dutta was so fat...but she actually has a curvy figure...so is it getting too much now? Is it that everyone is trying to go to extrememes to try and get that perfect body?
