After reading THE DATE scoop of MN , I admit I was very upset because firstly, I don't like the special rendezvous of MN where their main intention is to spend some quality time with each other and use it as an occasion to bond as individuals, being addressed as a DATE or viewed as an EVENT. Secondly, I do not see the purpose of having a white horse in "THE DATE" - just WHY is this horse and all this hullabaloo required when all MN need to do is sit and have a nice heart to heart conversation? 😕 😕 Don't you think that all the fancy stuff will take away the focus from the main purpose of the rendezvous, i.e. TALKING and BONDING? I also fail to imagine a convincing scenario in which the horse can make an entry and if MN would be shown riding a horse, it will look OTT and quite ridiculous. For heaven's sake, Mayank and Nupur are REAL PEOPLE, they are not some exports from a FAIRYTALE LAND, why can't the simplicity, spontaneity and subtlety of their relationship be kept intact by avoiding all this OTT fare? Why are MN being taken out of their characters again? PLEASE don't tell me "love changes a person", love does not turn someone into a YRF Filmy hero or a fairytale character, definitely not a PRACTICAL person! Sure Mayank is romantic but his romance is about a subtle finger interlock, a hand hold or a simple walk home- Mayank's love is about assuring his Nupur that he will be there for her through her odds, he will help her out of trouble and be by her side to support her even if he does not play guitar , ride a white horse or believe in mush like her DDLJ Raj. Nupur too, needs only that support and assurance from Mayank - nothing else!
Amidst all this, I genuinely feel bad for the poor animal that is being exploited to fulfill these grand and unreal fantasies of the 'creatives', so I have decided to fight for the right of the poor animal. All of you who agree with me are welcome to join me in this fight against the ruthless exploitation of these poor living things. Our group will be called META i.e MNians for Ethical Treatment of Animals!
