Gauri's biggest problem is that she has no self-respect, she actually behaves as if she asks to be insulted. Yesterday we saw the episode where Akash buys a necklace for his girlfriend (forgot her name) & Gauri stands by clutching onto her mangalsutra as if by so doing, she will cast a spell on Akash...I mean really - who stands around waiting to be insulted...she should blatantly ignore/avoid him & get on with her career...she is always in Akash's face & naturally that irritates him to no end!

I do not understand why she had to accompany them to the jewelry shop anyway. She has spent so much time being sheltered like a small child in that Garodia house that she can't seem to function on her own. She could probably easily find something else to do or somewhere else to go. Catch a movie. Read a book. Lie on the beach. But instead she has to follow Akash around and repeatedly be humiliated because she is incapable of surviving on her own. She must be some kind of masochist. As you say it is as though she WANTS to be insulted. Merely one day after gifting him that ugly shirt and being humiliated, she is throwing him a birthday party.

I swear Gauri is going brain dead lol. She is like a little puppy that follows Akash around begging for a treat lol
