Katrina Kaif to remake 'Tell No One'

Katrina Kaif will produce and star in a Bollywood remake of French film Tell No One - if she finalises a deal to buy the rights.

The actress's character in the psychological thriller is reportedly a dark role and will be a departure from the type of parts that she is often cast in.

"My role in the film has dark shades to it," Bolly Spice quote Kaif as saying. "I play a conniving, ambitious woman. It's a gloriously grey character, the kind I haven't played before."

The movie, based on a novel by Harlan Coben, is a story of murder and corruption.

It has been reported that a growing number of Bollywood actors and actresses are crossing over into film production, with Saif Ali Khan making his debut this month with the release of Love Aaj Kal.
