Is Arti Adi's sister? really

The way in which Arti behaves. especially with a small kid and they was they shouts-talks and has such an agressive personality....I mean she doesn't even look like Adi's younger sister...and someone who is studying.....she looks like an agressive woman.

Arti is a pain and polar opposite of Adi, but on the flip side of the situation I might act like her as well. I know it's horrible to treat Antara the way she does but Antara came into the picture during a very important time in Arti's life. She's engaged to Sameer and his parents are just visiting after Sameer delaying them as much as he could. If Sameers parents learn about Antara and the circumstances of how she entered the household the engagement might get broken.

With due respect to the previous post, irresponsible, rude, and selfish behavior should never be justified under any circumstances. If Arti really cared for her brother, it should have been evident to her that her bro really cares for the kid, and so hurting the kid would hurt her brother too. Arti never really expressed concern over what might happen to her bro's family life because of Antara...her sole concern was her "shagai" with Sameer coming in danger. She is selfish, and rude. I mean its ok that she is upset that her wedding chances are in jeopardy, but that does not condone the way she is behaving. It seems she is full of herself with no care or responsibility towards her brother. And this not very uncommon either. I have seen in many families....while one sibling is responsible, generous, kind, and giving, the other one is spoilt, selfish, rude and completely oblivious of others pain. The way Arti is handling the situation shows her immature and selfish nature.

I get so mad at her! Even I am a college going girl, but I would NEVER lock a child in a room by themselves just because they ruined their ice cream. The way she treats Antara is HORRIBLE! I am also really in disbelief that someone as good as Aditya could have such a mean and heartless sister!
