July 3rd 2009 Written Update
Sadhna and Ragini arrive at their maayka and are pleasantly surprised to see all the decorations. They settle down in their old room where Sadhna sees Ragini tensed and advises her to keep a smile for the sake of Mama-Mami's happiness. At the Rajvansh house, Alekh is packing Sadhna's things into a suitcase and preparing to send her off with Shlok. He looks at his painting he made of Shlok and Sadhna together and cries. Ranvir comes there and Alekh quickly hides his painting. When Ambika comes there to feed Alekh medicine, Ranvir takes over and assures her that he will take good care of Alekh.
At the Sharma house, Malti's mom orders one of the workers to put up decorative lights around the house. Mamaji stops her just in time and explains how Alekh is sensitive towards such decorations. Mama notices Mami worried and realizes she's worried abt Ragini, so he assures her that he will talk to her later but asks her not to spoil one daughter's big day because of the problems of the other daughter.
In the evening, at the Rajvansh house all are decked up and ready to leave for the sangeet at the Sharmas, except Alekh. Ranvir goes to check on him and finds him dialing Sadhna. He is upset that she is not picking up calls. Ranvir assures Alekh that she must be busy. Vasu comes there and is furious at Sadi when she hears Alekh tell Ranvir that his dost has changed and unlike earlier, she doesn't bother to call him anymore.
The Rajvanshs arrive at the Sharmas where Mamaji applies a tikka on Alekh's forehead. When Alekh realizes that the tikka is put for the dulha, he insists that his best friend Shlok shud have a tikka as well. Mamaji gives in although Vasu is upset. Alekh is glad that the real dulha got the tikka done.
